Story of Perpolise

Magnificent Persepolis (Takht-e Jamshid; admission IR5000; 7.30am-5pm Nov-Mar, 8am-6pm summer) represent the greatest successes of the ancient Achaemenid Empire…
When you get there which is 42 Km far from Shiraz, the capital of Shiraz province, which is located in center of Iran .Shiraz, used to be the capital of Persia for more than a century, in fact. In the first shot you will see the monumental staircases, and imposing gateways leave you in no doubt how grand this city was and how totally dominant the empire that built it.
Persepolis is a result of the vast body of skill and knowledge gathered from throughout the Achaemenids’ empire. It is Persian in ideology and design, but truly international in its superb architecture and artistic execution.

This multicultural concoction is alone in the ancient world, and while largely ruined it remains the greatest surviving masterpiece of the ancient Near Eastern civilisations.

It is pity to see most part of this great palace ,monument which represent our history, culture has been ruined and destroyed by attack of Mongols, Arabs and Truks during the past centuries.tihs place bring the glory of wars, kingdom, capturing lands
Respected scholar Arthur Upham Pope ably summed up the philosophy behind Persepolis in Introducing Persian Architecture (published by Tuttle in 1982).
It is found expression in the nobility and sheer beauty of the building: more rational and gracious than the work of the Assyrians or Hittites, more lucid and humane than that of the Egyptians. The beauty of Persepolis is not the accidental counterpart of mere size and costly display; it is the result of beauty being specifically recognized as sovereign value.
Some historians believe the site of Persepolis was chosen by Cambyses II, son of Cyrus the Great, but work did not begin until after Darius I (the Great) took the throne in 518 BC. It was added to by a host of subsequent kings, including Xerxes I and II, and Artaxerxes I, II and III, over a period of more than 150 years.
Note that there is little shade at Persepolis and from May until early October it can be sweltering, so bring a hat and water. For computer illustrations of Persepolis in all its glory, see www.persepolis3D.com.

Our street and local news

Our street and local news:

Everyday we have kind of different adventure in our old, oriental district in Xian. Sometimes some people neither see small things nor pay attention or care about them, but me and Wijb both are a bit different with some others.

Yesterday we went or lunch out as usual and in our street we have couple of restaurants which are quite nice and food is cheap and variety of Chinese dishes which I love.

Any way we were in and it was totally packed as it was peak time and we were lucky got a table. We have some lovely kittens around .Me and Wijbren both love animals and want to have one day dogs or kittens ,hopefully. Whenever I see them start patting and stroking them on its head and they on my lap especially the cute ones .
This time we tried to let them sneaking around and smoothly drop off some chunk of left over for them to nibble, but suddenly the owner showed up like guardian of hell and smacked and whacked the poor kitten on her back harshly then throw it out of the restaurant.

In fact I know why!. Wijbren was astonished and wanted to complain that what poor cat had done.

I kept him quiet and told him some costumers don’t like cats ,strolling around and passing zig zag way between their legs and with their innocent look stare at them and beg for food pleasantly. The bitter reality is in China at least as far as I know, people don’t like pets as ,cats and dogs so much. In fact in this city as the culture is a bit mixed with middle East, India and Xinxiang( as Turks, Mongols and other minorities and tribes live here) people are much warm hearted and we could find a lot of pet shops and almost every single family has a dog or puppy. I know in some Eastern part of CHINA AND PARTICULARY IN Guangdong province they eat dogs, cats, donkey meat.

When I was in Hangzhou we had a Donkey restaurant which one of my students invited me there nad I hardly could eat the donkeys’ organs!

Anyhow we found out the cat found a lovely place on the top of a small tree and start her daily ,summer nap under lovely shrubs on a big branch there and Wijbren as concern every simple things, especially about animals, which shows his light ,warm heart towards things, mentioned he was worried and wondering if she would slumps while asleeping wouldn’t be so nice though.

Our shopping day

Yesterday ad me and Wijbren made our mind to get our final shopping for his parents.

In fact yesterday we were walking for more than 2 hours to find the place we wanted which meanwhile I COULD FIND SOME NICE WHOLESALERS FOR COSMETIC AND HERBS AND SKINCARE AND COULD BARGAIN WITH THEM PRETTY WELL.

The point is in China ,in most of cities so far,as much as I concern you can find a long ,narrow street for specific shopping.
Yesterday we went to Silk –cloth street which was in fact 2 big parallel streets full of different type of cloth made of Silk, cotton, polyester and other fabrics and part of the street was just for cloth for curtains used in bathroom or in living room and another section just rugs and carpets.

To be honest to be in sucah a environment is amazing .It sounds tiring as we were walking all the way to there rather than get something ready ,but if somebody wants to settle down and as a house ,I assume he easily can get in one of these places and order tailors to make the stuff that exactly he wants.

Frankly speaking , the experience of this case has happened to me and Wijbren when we were in Shanghai few months ago. I know enough about him ,but I don’t know some of his fears which goes to back to his past life and his childhood.

He showed me a shop and told me how much he wanted to have such a nice curtain in our future living room, which I suld add itwas like Victorian style and really luxury .Back to my opinion I don't want make a victorian style even I have enough captial in my and for a house.

We had couple of times this agurment that how to decorate and desgine our future place and I have told him step by step ,cause now we haven't even married yes nor find somewhere to live for at least couple of years.

Anyhow ,I was amazed and surprised, cause for me everything seems simple or I a better word it works one day. I worked hard in my entire life even I have a good fortune from my parents .I made my life different against my nationality which in aot of cases is hard toget visa and lve anywhere that I want to and got chances to be in China and teach English and be elite in this job and in art and travel to several countries, for breaking the barriers in life is always possible and I see our future great as Wjbren and me are both over educated and determine and obsessive people.

I couldn’t convinced him we will have all one day soon as soon as we get out of this country. We passed by pet shop. Love to have dogs and I couldn’t during my childhood as my Dad hated dogs and we used to live in an apartment and my parents were professors and quite busy ,so o one could take care of pat and now it is already 6 years I am living in China and can’t get dog as travelling and moving and not stable in this country. We had to close our ryes and pass and wish one day soon as we have no problem financially to get all these that we want.
I am obsessed with all these and I want show Wijbren we can make the best of all these for us.

Our tickets and final plan for trip

Finally after 10 days I got a phone call from Netherland ‘s embassy and they told me that my visa was approved. It was a great news in fact after all.
I was devastating in Beijing for 4 days in order to deliver the documents and due to thunderstorm I had to stuck there 2 more days which was a total night mare of being at the airport and commuting between city and airport for 2 days in heat stroke of over 33c.
But anyway after that we had to put down the money to get our round trip tickets for- Amsterdam –Beijing and vise versa, but the fact is we were planning to visit Iran after wards, cause the protest and riots and rallies get worse and worse We made decision not go there at all and postpone this trip for another time.

I haven’t seen my family for 3 years and now even I have to wait for another couple of months for sure. I had made some other trips to some East Asian countries and I had a right time and opportunity to do so. Now I am struggling between my feeling and doing things rationally .I love to see them and want to show my fiancé ,Wijbren to them ,but this protest and fluctuated, unstable condition there give me strong feeling of fear and pull back.
Anyhow Wijbren as always problems with trips due to his height and sitting in bus and plane is hard for him. Moreover personally he doesn’t like travelling and mad of doing it It is the only thing I strongly can say we are totally oppositeand in different side.

I tries to compromised ,but n fact is with our job and especially y job I can’t get off any time want and have learned in my life never lose the chances in my life.

Anyhow we talked about going to Indonesia for second time for me as I would love to see some places which I couldn’t make it or the first time, but Wijbren has its own fears.

We settled our trip to Beijing to get the visa issued and hopefully I will be able to show the Beijng to Wijbren and then move to Mongolia. but today I have checked the weather which is supposed to be crap as now in exact day we have flight to Bejing and I feel so down now.

Some fashion tips

Some fashion tips:

Discreet or not to discreet the fashion.

Despite the current crunch and recession time ,fashion industry is still churning, catwalks ,shows. If you have lost your job, are earning less or just finding expenses have mounted try to assess how things got to this state for you. Look at every way you can to gain back some measure of control. For many women control begins with maintaining their own personal appearance
2009 is the year of the boldest brightest colours, so maximize your existing accessories, for example, a touch here and there of a brilliantly coloured bag, necklace, gloves, scarf, shoes or simple kimono tunic will maneuver you easily toward the fashion fever of 2009.

Next STEEL yourself in the forthcoming year to buy the items that you only really need, which flatter you, and suit your lifestyle. This is easier said than done!
If you are now in dire financial straits, then its important to be realistic about how important fashion trends are in your life plan.
Does buying fashion really fit into your 'budget plan' right now. I suggest you are reading this because fashion is still a topic which interests you and my aim is to show how you can still enjoy fashion without incurring crippling dept. One problem is that people have actually fixated on itsy bitty fashion fads rather than the wider fashion trends of the changing silhouette as being important.

Many will be doing what I have been doing for sometime browsing the shopping malls online. The online shop displays are getting more exciting all the time, with animations and movies supplementing the static pictures.

Horn blower movies

Comment on Horn blower movies:
Recently me and Wijbren are pretty busy, literally watching Horn blower mini T.V series which is eye –catching and mind boggling.

In fact I should correct myself I would prefer to call it ,individual 8 movies which are made for T.V cause the stories are totally different and not following each other ,in matter of sections ,but the same characters are playing on those each single movies.
Can classified and categorized the genre of these movies as adventure, drama war .

We have seen four out of eight so far and I am so much impressed with cast and music.

The actors are great and sceneries are so mind boggling and moreover the main actors play so realistic ,confident and really canny.
He (Loan Gruffud) the protagonist turn from a sick Midshipman to a high rank of ship officer and in less than 2 movies which shows how he become totally independent from his father’s background and grow up fast , shows his nobility and loyalty to his country and does great contribution . How shrew he is when trouble and hassle appears and use the rational tactics with I must say in better world good enough diplomacy to sort out problems according to the priorities.
A lot of people comment about the second part of Horn blower movies as it is a flat story. I must say I agree with that maybe compare to first one t seems a bit boring in matter of very classic war ship sorties and kind of fat at the end and strongly clever audiences can presume the end who wins of course Horn blower ,but in this movie becomes very soon to a prefect man., looming the war and fight on the ship and he is dealing with his examination for lieutenant cover the whole story ,but it still kind of drag me to continue the next story.
The third part out come was such a great effect In fact I was so dump into the movie and so eager to continue the story. The “Duchess” was great in matter of showing how much he does his job gratefully and make any effort to save his dispatches and even in the time of imprisonment how positively and constructively inspire his friend in prison for a bright out coming.
He and fake Duchess both play gratefully in totally different role but fighting for their country and show their integrity and loyalty in high manner with different way and they disguise themselves when the time comes to do so.

In fact the their part I really admire his guts till he fucked up with his frank speaking and I was wondering about his diplomacy and more over I was kind of pissed off how possibly a perfect senior shipment officer ,brainy ,shrewd, clever enough must start a wobbly relation with a French chick meanwhile they are in a such a harsh battle. as England and France were in neutral political and they landed in one of the lands to show their affiliation to royalist French general. In fact their action according what was given to them was great though and his integrity and well performed job was fascinating.

What Haute couture means?
Haute culture club might be restricted and as many of fashion followers already know that Paris is the center of Fashion in the world, or more precise to say the capital of fashion world.

Hua Qing hot spring 2009 early summer time

Hua qing hot spring:

Today me and Wijbren made decision to go to Hua qing Hot spring. In fact this place is on the bottom of Mount Lin which is 30 Km far from Xian city. There are plenty buses on the Main Bus station behind the train station which every ten minutes go to Hua qing district.

This place was a resort area for emperor around 2500 years ago and kingdom and royal family used to go there especially in summer time for bathing. In fact nowadays is not a great deal to be there ,but it has its won beauty and color and the history behind this is so vivid and spectacular.

The Huaqing Hot Springs is located about 35 kilometers east of Xi'an. Historically , during the Western Zhou Dynasty the construction of the Li Palace was undertaken on this spot. In the Qin Dynasty, a stone pool was built and was given the name Lishan Hot Springs. The site was enlarged during the Han Dynasty, and was renamed the Li Palace. During the Tang Dynasty, Emperor Taizong ordered the construction of the Hotspring.

This place has a romantic story as in legend stories mentioned the emperor Xuan was madly in love with a poor girl and honored here with the name of Lady and had affair with her. He was too much in love and it says her beauty distracted him from his responsibilities and in the end he hang himself to keep her name and his country safe. This place called after her “Hua qing” which means “THE FAIR”.

This place is include the Imperial palace , Museum ,Louts area and a big garden which leads the visitors to the bottom of Mount Lin and there is a station for Cable car for whom have desire to have a bird’s view eyes of the city and surroundings.

This place has a pavilion which was a place for Fung Lady after bathing airing her and her and rest there. In This area there four baths and hot spring which are good and heal muscles pain , arthritis and rheumatism
Anyhow we spent couple of hours hanging around there and pass the Museum and got the bus and back to Xian which was nice day trip in fact..

Persian language's history

The history of Iran language( Farsi),
The Achaemenid Persian Empire (550–330 BC) was the largest empire of the ancient world and it reached its greatest extent under Darius the Great and Xerxes the Great — famous in antiquity as the foe of the classical Greek states (See Greco-Persian Wars). It was a united Persian kingdom that originated in the region now known as Pars province (Fars province) of Iran.
It was formed under Cyrus the Great, who took over the empire of the Medes, and conquered much of the Middle East, including the territories of the Babylonians, Assyrians, the Phoenicians, and the Lydians
Iran Has a great Empire for over 2500 years and control basically not only the middle East ,but also to Far East borders including some part of India and North border went far to most South Ex-soviet union and West boarder to Turkey.

Iranian language has 3 dialect which one calls Dari which speaks in Afghanistan and One speaks in center of Asia in Ex-Soviet Unions and another one speaks in ran( Persia).
Iran is a multilingual country inside of Iran there are some minorities ,ethnic groups who speaks Turkish, Kurdish and even Arabic even.

Persian appeared fairly standardized by the tenth century with a bit dialect on it and mostly appeared in Poems and should say thanks to our great poet Firdausi who made it this language alive for second time after Barber and Arab attack in order expanding Islam’s religion in neighboring countries, mainly in Persian empire which the result was not what was expected and as a result destroyed a lot of libraries and basically culture of Iran ,unfortunately.

Persian was cultivated at the courts of the Ottoman rulers, several of whom are known for composing Farsi poetry. Urdu also developed under heavy Persian influence. Persian first entered India with the conquest of North West India by Ghaznavid armies in the eleventh century. Four centuries later, Persian was chosen as the court language by the Mogul rulers, who were major patrons of Persian literature, unlike the contemporary Safavids in Iran.

The history of Persian Gulf

The history of Persian Gulf,

Persian gulf named after Daruse one of the pragmatic ,strong-minded, peacemaker and fully diplomatic manner kings in the history of our 2500 years kingdom in Persia(old name for Iran).
Iran nation has a great old history of culture and tradition with a deep old language which is comes from Hindu-European language Sanskrit.
Iran race calls Aryan, as so many nations and countries have doubt and make accidentally mistake and call us a Arab nation.

The Greek term "Sinus Persicus" is equivalent to "Persicher golf" in German, "Golfo Persico" in Italian, "Persidskizalir" in Russian and "Perusha Wan" that all mean "Persia".

Today most common Arabic works and include the Wiki -pedia and Arabic encyclopedia call it Persian Gulf.
The story of call this gold as Arab Golf started from :

Since the beginning of 20 century it started to call as Fars Sea and there was an agreement which was signed between Iran, England, Dutch, Germany, USA and independent Kuwait which is supporting the British interest in Gulf area call this sea as a heritage of Persia .

But it was quite few times that British missionaries tried hard and British diplomats wanted to separate small Island in South part of Iran and even Dubai which is now an independent country in Persian Gulf.
The beginning of 1930s was a turning point in the history of efforts for changing the name of Persian Gulf when Sir Charles Bellgrave, (?) the British diplomatic envoy in Bahrain opened a file for the change in the name of the Persian Gulf and proposed the issue to the British Foreign Office.

Even before the response of the British Foreign Office he used the fake name (in an attempt to retake Bahrain, the Tonbs, Abu Mosa, Sirri, Qeshm, Hengam and other islands belonging to Iran and to disclose and thwart the plot of disintegration of Khozestan).

Beside the disputed that has been made over the name of Persian Gulf the United nationwith include 22 Arab members are declared the unalterable name of Persian gulf and between Iran and Arab neighboring countries.

My trip to Bijing ,second part

My trip to Beijing second part,
I had been pretty amazing question been asked during interview which I think all Iranian if they keep their national face with it .They asked me If I have a full time job in China or part time, next asked me what exactly I teach and when I explained about my art qualification and English qualification they were impressed ,somehow.
Moreover they asked about my relation ship with my boy friend and wanted to know how long and how strong this relationship is!.
the next touching question was about the article in one of Dutch news was talking about us and our life in China.
After that I accepted to respect the whole duration of visa process calmly and peacefully.
Anyway the rest of the day I tried to enjoy a bit and went to Beihai park in Beijing which I have attached some photos on Face book on fact. I had been there in my last trip and had good memories and this time as it is end of spring and summer starting in Bejing ,you could see a lot of lotuses there and was so tranquil and lovely to be there out of all hustle and bustle in city center.
This park was built in 10th century and has divided to 3 part. It has a great ,magnificent garden in the east part and the white pagoda and corridors after that take you to the West part.

In fact the International Youth Hostel is a great place to stay in .I have had great experience of Beijing in Youth Hostel n China and I recommend IT.

Tuesday was the day I was supposed to go back to Xian the city we live in. But in the morning surprisingly I discovered it is so dark what is going on then in less than an hour such terrible down pour. It was raining like a hell. the street got soak in less than 10 minutes and water running everywhere. I could assume today is so flight girl. you stuck here…
Well I reached to airport with hassle and all the flight to Xian and so many to her cities were delayed or canceled and I waited couple of hours and then contact Wijbren through net find another hostel and then changed my ticket and all the way back to the city .Can you imagine when I found that hostel was 8 at night 12 hours at airport or on the way coming and going ,swinging around. well .Such a day.

But hopefully on Wednesday I could get my flight back to Xian .in total I spent 48 ours at the airport..

My Third trip to Beijing, first part

My trip to Beijing., first part
Sunday I had a flight to Beijing because I had to go to the Dutch embassy to deliver the documents for tourist visa in person. They don’t accept it online.

Anyway the last time I visited Beijing was four years ago. In fact I don’t like big cities and capitals sue to traffic and pollution and price of everything is at least double or even more. But I should confess Beijing has changed so much during these few years ,especially because of Olympic 2008 They have made a lot of effort for the environment there.

They have opened the third terminal in Beijing which from the last Underground station you can reach to the airport by shuttle bus in 40 minutes and takes you to international and domestic airport station.

I was so impressed by fast underground the speed was over 100 km per hours in fact and so clean ,organized and punctual. All the way to the airport was green .
I had heard before ,since 2007 they were working to plant more flowers and trees there ,but surprisingly there were a frost park which was old enough.
.
Even in down town there was a line which took you directly to the Olympics stadium and different playground and courts there.

My trip started really great and in 1.30 minute I was there and precisely I could get the shuttle bus to the down town and luckily my Chinese good enough to communicate especially with Beijing people. I realized how different they speak there compare to other cities which I am living and used to live.

Four years ago I could speak mandarin or even could catch any words, hardly ever could understood them, but now was kind of pride for me. Any how I really loved the hostel and I have attached the picture on Face book as I can’t upload them here anymore, sadly.
I had a couple of bad accident which made my trip from a lovely one to a night mare ,somehow. First of all I received a spam on my mobile the way to airport that they claimed I used my credit card and owe bank12800 RMB which is a big amount. that freak me out .I had to ask Wijbren follow the case and found out it was spam and no need to show any reaction.
The second bad News was on Monday in Embassy. In fact it took me 2 hours my metro to reach to embassy and then I had an appointment but it took another hour to get in for interview .I delivered the documents and they told me due to my nationality they can’t give me any answer or any promise and I have to wait at least for another 2 weeks, which is sucks. But the problem was I couldn’t give my passport to them. I was thinking and tempting leave my pass there and then change my flight to train and back home, but was risky and wasted of money. So I have to wait 2 weeks and even if they call me I must have second trip to go there and stuck there for at least 5 days ,because officially visa process takes 3 days in fact.
I love to be there with Wijbren ,because he hasn’t seen Beijing at all and we want to take tour around and go to Great Wall ,but not alone. I am hoping he can manage his last week classes somehow and come with me in case of having phone call.

An artist life( Kiarostami)

Kiarostami has made more than 40 movies during his artistic lfe .He has known as a professional artist.

When the earth quake 1990 happened in Tehran he drove his life to an isolated area and afterward he made 2 movies related to devastation of earth quake. Yet, applying for a visa to direct this month's production of Così fan tutte at the English National Opera, he was asked for a deposit by Britain's visa office, to guarantee that he would not become a refugee.
He called it baloney talk and never received a proper answer why they have
treated him like this, as an international film maker has been in Ken festivals and his movies all around been seen should be treated this time differently.

After this kind of disgraceful action he mentioned he wanted to enjoy himself. He mentions he tries to say the realty in his life and the truth. Mostly he tried to bring the hidden truth into reality. He was born in 1940’s n Tehran and he passed a very peaceful life in his childhood and his father was a painter and decorator.

He made quite few movies about Shah dictator leadership in Iran before revolution and expand it to a bitter truth and mostly he confirms that he wants to talk about realties in his movies .He graduated from Tehran university of fine art and worked couple of years as a graphic designer for movies.

His motto related to the Presidential election is people should become politically mature and educated then won’t make huge mistakes twice. e said he will vote for republic and always be ready with barefoot goes to the street if it makes some good changes at the end.

.

Movie time

Movie time in our daily life.

My and Wijbren are so much into watching movies of course the ones which worth watching, mostly when we finish work ,reading stuff done playing games over, then we stick to the TV and plan for dinner time .Watching movies come up which later on we make hot discussion about them.
We saw Kong Fu movie which is directed by Richard lang. This movie has a great directing, cinematography is good though and the cast have made a great role there.
This movie is one of the type of movies no one talk about t and you can’t see so many Ad’s, or if you go to the music, movie store you find it under cover of plenty of dust, but when you watch it see how mc worth watching it.

Before watching I had no clue about the movie ,just general ideas about it. It has been made as a T.V series .I recommend watching them for whom really want to go into philosophy of Kong FU and martial arts and more over get more information about Chinese philosophy.
This movie is a kind of fantastic in action and adventure that Carradine has played ever.
He was a great actor( not alive anymore, sadly).he made a great act in this movie and a lot of effort, perfect dialogue and deep sentences, nice acting ,magnificent kong fu tuff and t s cool to see t great actors in one movie.
He played in quite few movies before, but this movie is an American Version which is adapted into Chinese culture.
Another great play is Brandon Lee the child of Bruce lee He is very new to Hollywood but has made a great history for him self till now.
Overall watching this movie was a great joy me. Esecially the part he was talking about “Grasshopper” and deep philosophy meaning behind it.

My life recently

I have started to reviewing my Chinese books ,then literally I have done with Chinese graded books, which means a lot to me. After few years I can read and write somehow and understandable and communicate with people not too bad .

Moreover I have had some English stuff to do and my blog stories , some articles ,writing news and stories ,which I AM TRYING TO ADD TO MY DAILY HABIT S, all hopefully, by the time our international trip will start , will be over, and be sort out.

I have some ideas for new paintings and some sketches ,designing clothes as well which I would love to do during this month.

But in next few days I have to move my ass off from here and go to Beijng and sort out my visa for Europe. Last week we had pretty harsh time to find a durable, reasonable ticket for our trip .
You know?
Instead of buying 3 tickets which is logically accepted which would cost less air traffic and less pollution to the environment.
We had to buy 2 return ones form and to Europe via Beijing, for visiting Iran the same story as well, which is so annoying.
Another option was to pay another at least 500 Euro more and 13 hours in just one airport in transit sit and the worst part of scenario was I had to get another transit visa to country which I have already been to cause of my nationality belong to no where in fact. isn’t it annoying and ridiculous?. Mind boggling!

Anyhow after spending hours we sort out those fucking tickets and booked them….

Next thing is we are trying to organize some short trips around Xian meanwhile this month we are here and later on possibly heading to Mongolia which a mysterious place for me and I would love to discover in fact.

Iran presidential election

Iranian presidential election.

It is just 2 days left till election in Iran. Mr Ahamdinejad desperately is seeking to keep the power in second term of landmark on Friday election, who is facing a great challenge on this time election and on televised debate last week was under the pressure of other leaders clerics.

Mr Rafsanjani fired off a letter to the supreme leader in which he warned that "tens of millions" of Iranians had witnessed the President's statements during the heated TV showdown.
Other powerful nominee and candidate who were former prime ministers r had a seat in cabinet ,some of being accused of corruption during their position in government.

During these four year Ian economy has tanked ,oil prices has collapsed .Even the supreme religious leader rebuked the president for strong ,harsh, ineffective speech during the his last debate of T.V show.
Even though his present president unbelievably is well known between conservative groups and villager as a humble, down to earth, but the supreme leader consider the public move as well.

There are so much tension and people are tense who is going to win and what will come next to the future of Iran policy as the economy sank, oil price has essential role in Iran and more important ran foreign policy toward West and America wt hew president Barack Obama and nuclear old story might make again another negative or positive effect ion and pasteurizing Iran in wrong way.

Animal rights

Written by Mahkam Mostghim

The killing of wild animals has always been an issue .It has been considered a necessity of our life. Today, hunting is a controversial issue because it is currently regarded as a recreational activity, a lot of communities are concerned about safety issues and society’s attitude toward animals has changed.
Due to the naumber of some of species are indanger and in the edge of exincion Animal community is more active than before.
In fact as I consider in China ,Panda is one of those rare species which have been under protection and even more than that, there are few breeding centers in West part of China to take care of this endanger speices.

Nowadays there are a lot of arguments against hunting and it is considered unsafe, ineffective and unnecessary.

If we look back to the caveman era, we notice the human being has always hunted wild animals and considered them as a source of food.
Because of population growth during the few past centuries, killing animals has become a big problem.

Cities expand, trees are slashed and forests destroyed, ravaging their habitats. On the other hand cities grow and population increase, more resources are needed to feed human and more space are needed to be cultivated and turned to human habitate.

Global warming is another problem which we are facing and has a great impact on the ecosystem and obviously on wild life.
Then these questions come up: have we ever thought where they should live, and how they find their food?

If we think about it deeper, we can see ourselves somewhere in this chain which might suffer at the end.
In fact the Animal Rights organization has been working hard since last century to defend and protect wild life.

A lot of people argue that hunters shouldn’t kill wild animals, but the fact is that killing a deer is not worse than killing chickens for food.
However a lot of hunters try to defend themselves and claim that killing a number of deer for instance can profit for ecosystem.

Some people who are against hunting take the argument much further and say that animal rights organizations don’t do the job effectively or even noticeably, since today we see so many groups of animals in danger or their race extinct. The African elephants or Asian tigers are good examples.

Non-Native English Speakers Should Teach English

English is the language of the world and English teachers are in great demand. Parents want English teachers for their sons and daughters. Businesses want to break down language barriers between departments in different countries and between them and their clients.

In fact from 400 year go the importance of English langage appeared but not widespread, after the huge number of migrantsto USA and increasing number of colonies in South East Asia ,which we call them common wealth countries nowadys , Newsealand and Australia by mostly Britons, slightly English anugae become oe of the best and the top ones. But turning to international language and priority of useing it apprehend from mid 20 century.

English is now no longer spoken only by native speakers in countries like the USA and Great Britain. It is widespread among non-native speakers from a wide range of countries. Every country brings its own culture to a language, which means that the world is faced with the emergence of many different kinds of international English. This has caused a number of linguists to question the exclusive use of native-speaker pronunciation models in teaching English. They consider all different kinds of pronunciation models to be equally valid. As teachers, we need to identify which features of the English language are crucial for mutual understanding when one non-native speaker of English talks to another. One example would be pronunciation.

The place of natives and non-natives in teaching English has probably been an issue since English first started being taught internationally.
In the end, however, there are many qualified and educated English teachers in the world, both native and non-native. They have all contributed to our understanding of teaching the language by having their own unique perspective. For instance, the problems facing English learners can be more tangible for non-native teachers, because they used to make the same mistakes when they were learning the English language. Native English teachers bring other advantages to the table.

To sum up, I believe that natives and non-natives have an equal chance to become successful English teachers even though their backgrounds may not the same.

Capital punishment

Capital punishment is the only way to deter the criminals

Written by Mahkam Mostaghim

I would like to open this article with this question: Is capital punishment essential and unavoidable?
Lets look at the case in this way. Crimes are anywhere. In my opinion even more than few decades ago. Record and estimate of crimes show that the number of crimes drastically has been increased .Why people committed crimes, is another topic to discus. But shall we let the criminals be free and no punishment on them? Shall we live in darkness and let our society fall?

In fact no offence but China has the highest nmber of capitl punishment and my country Iran as I love this country so much ,but due to changing the government 35 years ago a lot of rues and regulations got more stirct in a matter of punishment for exemple.Iran has pretty high number of corporal and capital punishment. In SOme countries and espcially in Amercia ,they may never use this method anymore ,as they claim this is the life god gave to you and you are the only ne to be in charge and responisble of what you do.and just to be punished by law is maximum life imprisonment. We see rare number of death penalty in West more than Islamic countries in Asia or Middle East though.

In fact to punish the criminals and eliminate the crimes are our duties. Every one is responsible for what he does, but if it comes back to the society’s responsibilities, then it effects on everyone else.

The point is there should a proper punishment, but obviously not death penalty for all type of crimes.
Sometimes crimes are severe and need to be distinguished from the others specifically. If a criminal has been sentenced to death, it is better to reconsider the judgment ,because it ends an innocent life.

Anti-capital punishment organizations have been established a few decades ago to protect the human rights. In a lot of societies majorities are against capital punishment .They claim we can’t end someone’s life so easily and hastily and make a proper judgment .On the other hand they say you can make a good example by executing someone and expect others get a good lesson.

A lot of liberal-minded people say that is horrifying to observe, hanging and electric chair are different type of barbarous actions and brutal. More over it brings failure to social justice rather than a great success.

On the other hand, a lot of cases show a big number of criminals who have been imprisoned for years, get released and then commit another crime. Such cases can divide a nation.

To sump up, the death penalty is good to bring a justice to innocents and criminals and reduce severe crimes.

Childhood is certainly not the happiest time of your life:

We spend part of our adult life thinking about how easy it used to be being a child. We had complicated life, with little or no responsibilities and the freedom to play and relax all day long. Being a child is the most beautiful part of our life in some points.

Some say, maybe childhood is fairly happy time but not certainly as the age comes, you get more knowledge and information and we reach to the highest point in our life.

It is all about the time you pass through and some people have incredibly perfect memories from past and some not.
Some people say: Better to call not perfect memories but even nt reallygood ones I believe are good enough to look back and remeember them ,cause it was a period of our life which is over and we can't go back.

It is obvious when you are a kid don’t know that much about future and you are so fragile. Parents always tell you what to do and what not to do and you have be an obedient child.

There are some contradictories ideas as some they say your childhood pass with so much freedom and no responsibilities and some say you are a follower .Even though I must confess that sometimes I am dozing the past time of my life and some periods I would love to be able to go back and relive my memories.

I made a survey in my class and asked my students who are mid and late 20's,which ages you think is the best age to be?
You knwo what was the answer?.The maority mentioned they loved to be 5 to 10 as this period of life is so colorful and you can do what you want to do, just play and no reponsibilities and freedom of talk and even though as no body blame you harshly for what you say or think is right or wrong and count on you as a kid.

As the matter of fact ,being alone and make your own decisions make you strong and build your confidence and self-confidence.
On the other hands there are a lot of kid’s grow up in a strict families but when they are grown up are really innovative and turn into scientist and researchers.
Finally ,we can’t say exactly which period of our life is the best and happiest time ,could be any period of life and it is depend on what we do and how make and build life and our perspective towards life.

So I LEAVE IT LIKE THAT WHAT DO YOU THINK ?
WHEN IS THE BEST TIME OF YOUR LFIE?

the impact of interent in our daily life

There is a big influence of technology in our life .This impact has started from last century and it has gotten bigger and bigger.

Have you never though how we could possibly live without tele-communication devices ,Internet ,Computers and so on?

Internet, telecommunication and multimedia have a great impact on our daily life. There are many advantages to using internet.Comparing 2 generations back or even one give us a better view of life and what changes have happened in our life.

In the 1900s people used to live in a different way and most of the jobs demanded physical power. There were relatively more labor jobs than now. At the end of the twentieth century computers became commonplace and many things changed.
Nowadays most companies require their employees to have specific knowledge related to computers and software programming. In different fields and majors you need to know at least the basics of using a computer. Computers have become indispensible to our society and our life.

Nowadays if you are a woman and have responsibilities at home but worry about work time or a manager who doesn’t want to be in the office for the whole day, using internet becomes a priority. Another example: finding a job online, posting your resume and sending in your application.

Looking for the latest information has changed as well. Just 20 years ago you had to go through magazines, books and newspapers, consuming a lot of time. Now everything becomes available to you in a very short time.
Studying online is another great advantage of using internet. You don’t need to waste your time in traffic jams and consume energy commuting every day: the information and knowledge is available on the internet.

You don’t need to be in your office for 8 hours, as it is possible do your work at home through internet. A lot of advertisement has been made according to internet and a lot of jobs has been developed and expanded due to computer and net works.
Additionally, most of seminars and conferences hold on Net and a lot of social activist do their job through net. Emails and letters and faxes go through net so fast, and all of these are part of our lives in 21 century.
A lot of software costs a lot if you want to buy the original ones, but through online shopping everything is cheap and you can download pile of information and programmers.

There are negative aspects to using the net. For instance: Opening some programs and some sites which might have negative aspects on children...
Internet make some people a little lazy and isolated from society .As they just sit and work at home and not be sociable.More over a lot of spam and junks and pops- up unwanted apear in or mail box and have to be very wise not to open them and spend some time to get rid of them.

To be critical sometime as an adult is incredibly hard to distinguish between right and wrong data and information which come from different sites and author’s .These all can have a great influence on people.
Despite all of these, we can’t ignore the advantage of using internet and the changes in our daily life.

Are there too many advertisments on T.V

We are living in a society full of advertisements and commercials. Basically everyday new products hit the markets. A lot of companies are desperately looking for new potential customers and feeding their rich, old and bossy clients.

They are trying to figure out how to win this competition in a very brutal, competitive environment. It is crucial and unavoidable, because life is changing too rapidly and is too fast-pace. But are all these advertisements necessary or too much? The question is how much is a lot and how much is too much.

According to new research a lot of TV-channels are looking for a way to add more advertisement to fill the poor quality of their programmers. It is considered how much could help them to develop their reputation by adding the number of visitors.
Most of the big companies are sponsoring a lot of T.V channels. They have already captured the society’s desire by manipulating the market and overwhelming it.

For instance, you are watching a TV series, but while you are watching it almost every ten minutes pops-up shows up and BANG!
Another tangible example, in 1980’s companies would think how to make advertisement and think about the importance of using it. Now, however, many in society are thinking about how to get rid of them, because they have saturated the market and some of them are really poisonous. A lot of youngsters even can’t distinguish between an adequate advertisement and bad ones.
We can also go through internet and see how much people have been distracted. Their email boxes are full of spam and junk mails.

To sum up, the importance of advertisement should not be ignored, as it has made a big contribution to our society and business. It has influenced the development and quality of products, aids many customers and helps running business. Stock markets and international trade would not have developed as much without it. On the other hand, that also means they would not have suffered as much as they have lately.

What do we do in our free time!

In our days off we try to do different things together. Well the fact is our hobbies beside few exception ,are pretty resemble ,for instance :I would like reading books or study Chinese few hours everyday and Wijbren is the same.
TO be honest my Chinese during these few month improved a lot as my working hours per week is pretty down compare to my previous job and that what I want at least for a year.
Wijbren doesn’t like Classical Novels and call them chick flicks, but he loves reading politics, Even so he sometimes seems a bit lazy and wants to play computer games for hours, all works somehow. I must confess I am getting used to it, so far .
Couple of times we even had fights during our games and we decided after on not to play against each other ,weather or not seems silly ,but otherwise our relationships ill go suck. We started shouting and killing each other. So from now on whenever I play he leaves the room and try to keep it quite and vise versa.

I am putting it in my schedule to play racing games ,kong fu, tactic games and so on for couple of hours,.

Mot of week days even I would like to put my fingers on the violin strings and make some humming sounds out of it. Almost 3 times per week ,we willlingly go and play tennis and sometimes we do try pool .Actually this weekend ,he suggested that as the weather was freaking hot ,maybe it is a good choice to play pool which is indoor instead.

But the fact is we don’t watch T.V here in China that much, which is an amazing fact. Well understanding the language is one aspect ,but on the other hand we don’t like sticking to T.V for hours.

In fact using internet and downloading movies ,music ,playing games writing articles are more important than stupid T.V’ programmes. why is that so?

Are there so many advertisement on T.V?
We might consider how much T.V is important in our daily life and does effect .If we look carefully around we will notice majority of people watch T.V everyday .As researches show approximately 2-3 hours daily people are watching T.V .
It doesn’t matter exactly what s on there ,but as it has colour and sounds attract people. Even sometimes in some families you can see 2 or 3 .T.V s on ,ne in kitchen and one in bedroom and living room.
Some times there are fights what channel or programme should watch. Even though some of programmes are pretty funky and internet has a great role.

Distinguing between adequete ones and bad ones is pretty hard.So many people even with having high education and enough experience are being poisoned by fluffy and colorful pops-up ad's.
If by chance you notice the crowd shopping in big malls, you will realize mst f them don't knw exactly what they want to buy though .Just something junk is n thier mind and unconsciousely go and pick up something new from the shelf in the mall.
There so many companies which have the high percentage of their products are being sold by T.V.

Whenever you turn the T.V box on after just a few minutes one ad’s pops-up and it goes and goes till kill the spirit of what you are watching. Basically they advertised everything from toothpaste to house loan, from chocolate to new shoes products.
Well, even if I seem to be a bit sarcastic ut in fact we do love sometimes to see and follow those Ad's as they are part of our daily life .Must confess some of them are pretty creative and have made enough contribution to the society.

Our engagement and my brithday at the same time

Our engagement and my birthday:

As I knew In my birthday something some thing coming up I was so excited and I could presume in fact what I am going to receive from my boyfriend.
In fact I should confess we had a great time.
Three days off ,be lazy and decided to go to Korean restaurant which we both fancy about Korean food.

In fact as we both are so alike in everything we always know when we are too happy something coming up as he proposed me and gave me the ring and we were eating I was sad cause this stupid conversation always come up and Wijbren is not happy in China anymore, and Neither I am.

Anyway it was destiny we met 9 months ago and our future somehow has changed from the time we met.

I have always thought I am so considerable and sensible person as the realty come and things happened. Any how. he has changed his mind from few month ago to go back to Europe and I admire him and I accepted it in fact.

We both would like to have a better life as we are both have high education and nothing more than teaching at university might happen to us which is not enough at all.

He wants to work on his field as journalist and I do want to go back to fashion industry .
The problem is as I am holding Iran passport can’t join him and go to Europe easily .I have told him we get married and I wait here and work and pass the process of permanent visa, but he is too worried of losing time and chances to go back to his career and want to fly as soon as possible.

I am thinking his is worried and nervous for marriage too. Sometimes I feel men can’t get it the time that they should.
I will do compromise anything which is necessary but don’t do hasty things which make our situation harder and drift apart.
Well our conversation didn’t reach to any point as none of our conversation do, and no result at the end.
I hope things change during our long trip to Iran and Holland and things get easier.

Dragon Boat festival origin and tradition

Dragon boat festival goes back to 2000 years ago in China. Nowadays in Canada ad USA both celebrate t some times in October.
May 26th was Dragon Boat festival in China, which in lunar calendar is 5th day of 5th month .Basically this time was the time farmers celebrate of having a rainy , summer for their crops and harvest time. This time is actually associated with summer solstice.

As traditionally China has a legendary story about this festival which says: there was a wise man who advised the king how to keep peace in the country and save China from the enemies warrior, but King was haughty and exile him from China .

He was totally upset and drown himself in the river. people who knew him and respect him as a great noble and hero went to the river and used the boating ,paddling in order to find him and keep the Dragon of river away from him, it didn’t work Chinese eat rice and on that time they used to wrap it with leaves and still this tradition exist.( Sticky rice in green leaves)which tasty in fact.

They throw food and rice into river to feed the fish and dragon and keep them away from his body. They used 5 colors to scare the sea animals and nowadays still they make bracelets and kids wear it on their wrist to keep them healthy and safe from evil spirit.
These days in so many small cities in China still go to the river and celebrate it ,but mostly consider as a fun day and having picnic and going out with family and eat sticky rice and cakes .
Me and Wijbren were passing our great time in the mountain climbing up and hanging metal Chinese wire in rocky mountain.

The Europe visa and my trip for summer

During this month I have has so much tension ,and I am a bit fucked up .Me and Wijbren have made up our mind to have a vacation to our both countries.
In fact we would like to meet each other’s parents and we just engaged and would to have some trips around countries together which make totally sense.
As the matter of fact as I am still holding Iranian passport, therefore there are many strict regulations in order to obtain tourist visa for Europe.

In fact this issue was harsh enough to bring up some discussion between us and we both pissed off of so many things and afterward start nagging and complaining about everything and every one.

Our mind was busy over then a month and kind of mind bulging to prepare the documents and ask parents to send invitation letter then here in China it fucked it up and we had to find out where it is gone and get it as some can’t read ENGLISH AND WE MUST WIRTE THE ADDRESS IN CHINESE.

Even though it seems easy, I have to get insurance and book the tickets and get confirmation which is so simple but here took 2 fucking hours to be able to present it to Chinese what we need and a piece of printed paper and more over financially cost me a lot to get a trip by lane to Beijing and get appointment for embassy which is suck.

Then we have to kill our beautiful holiday for around one month to wait for result of visa and don’t in a week or a month it gets ready.

Now I am totally depressed as I am thinking we would like stay longer in Holland and in Iran and we might consider to get married and we need so many documents to get ready and translate .
To be honest I don’t want to lose this chance for marriage as Wijbren want to find a job from September when we are back and leave China and my situation will get harder to get visa to see him or live with him in Europe .
I am thinking about my future job as a designer not English teacher and want to be in Europe sooner to pass some course and get a job.I don't want to be funky andwimpy ,but nfact these period of time in my life is harsh to as through.

The only thing till now was luckily sort out is my job almost finished and I will finish next week with students and Wijbren still has 4 more weeks to go. Sometimes simple thing in life seems so complicated .We are trying to help each other and not screw up with no reason.
