This Friday is a very special Friday for me, not just because I love snow and we had from morning till evening for season in one day, or because I am with Wijbren’s family and in Holland. It is special for me because we are married on Friday 29 January.
We arrived Holland last week and during the week we were pretty positively busy with marriage stuff to organize them and all things done pretty well.
Friday morning we woke up around 8 in the morning and the night before I hardly could sleep, not just Because of being nervous, in fact because I was excited, ecstatic and moreover was thinking that eventually I have found my partner who deeply loves me and care for me.
Anyhow it started to snow in the morning and it was so cool. I do love snowy weather and I always wanted it in my Wedding day! Isn’t it amazing?
I am not superstitious but every went well.Wijbren’sdad took me to the hair dresser and she done my hair and my special flower decoration which I made it 10 years ago myself, set on my hair precisely and then went came back home and I was a lucky bride to have my fiancé to help me wear and dress up in a very sweet way.
Later we went to take some pictures and we went to the North Sea which is on the boarder of district we live in Holland.
It a was gorgeous view to see icy and frozen sea so alike Arctic sea and I would say not all couples lucky to have these kind of pictures on heir wedding album pictures .I do confess it was a bit cold with Wedding dress hang out for 2 hours to take picture on icy fields, but it was warm in out heart and it was the sweetest part of my life.
Later on we got back home we took some lunch and I saw my brother in low and all together with photographer went to the court, in a better word municipal place to get married.
It was such great memorable moments there.
It was short as just took half an hour and we signed the marriage contract and had 3 witnesses and the woman who was presenting our marriage was Wijbrens’ family friend, She tried really hard by saying poems, putting Iranian music’s and talking about us and back ground and our memories to make it in a homely speech, moreover Webern had a nice, small surprised lecture for me which was so emotional and, I was totally speechless and hardly control myself not to cry.
I wish on those moments, my mum and dad were there to see all these. Anyhow after official things we went to the resort area which was like a small castle in urban area and so great to be there, with all classical paintings, dinner was exclusively nice and well papered and we had our first marriage Champaign together and I could take some common pictures from my camera as well.
We had a lucrative Jacuzzi and perfect break fast and it went all well till now.

Wednesday 26 January
Tuesday January 26, 2010:
The last couple of few days were a bit hectic and with ups and downs, somehow we passed through.
We tried hard on Monday to contact the police bearu and Hospitals to get through the staff we need to do. As the matter of fact, each country has its own regulations and paper works.
We found out as Wijbren isn’t registered in Holland, he has to get non criminal record on line, but the it required a letter of certification from my embassy to legalise his action, which means going to Hagge.
Afterwards, it is the hospital regulation for health test is not simple, needing prescription form doctors and we had to go through circle of couple people, and then realized it might take weeks to get the test and then result takes its won time.
Our mainly problem is, as we don’t live in this country and want to do the staff in short time.
More over, we are going to sign, a pre-nuptial agreement which took us, twice talking to authorities then sign the papers, and final story was florist’s issue.
Actually, my bouquet cost us more than cost of the wedding dress ordered in China.
Isn’t that rediculous.
Another freaky thing was going to the dentist, which I received bad news, as I have cavities on 6 freaking teeth and need to pay pile of Euros here, to fix them.
In fact, that depressed me, because I wanted to save money for our trip holiday.
But at the end I should say things working here smoothly, at least for one marriage and I bet we will have harder week next week to hop on the train to The Hague seeing how much we can get on with things over there.

October 18,Sunday
Yesterday night was our movie night with some friends.
We met 2 guys one couple of months ago and the other last semester here in a local restaurant. these 2 are students now studying their master degree and one used to teach English at university so far.
Anyhow ,once we were talking about horror movie and “Ring “ and they asked us to watch some Japanese’s horror movie together as they have a great reputation of genuinely being scary.
Wijb downloaded 2 moives.First was “Garage” and the second called” “which a bit goofy and depressing as the story of the second was just spreading the message of how network system can be a killer of our life as we become isolated from society and no friends around besides computersand the entire society goes through annihiliation till end of life.

Personally I do like watching horror movie ,but not Japanese type.Both were doomed and grimed.
Garage was one of those typical stereotype horror movies which make hell out of your guts.
The story was zoomed in one Haunted house where a terrible tragedy of domestic violence had happened there long time ago. Basically the maniac beast murdered his entire family and the son was observing his mum death before his .
The were 2 ghosts handing around the house one him and another his wife and some time kid show up, and intensively torturing the people to death who go or live in that house till they die gradually by mocking and showing up with disgusting ,bloody appearance.
Main point was it’s sequences were going forward and backward in time and in fact it was working on your brain to distinguish were we are at the moment of watching.
The child’s ghost was brutal and revengeful ,but was good just to one social worker who found out about family’s picture and took care of grandma in the house.
The ghost was torturing the grandma by seeing the scenery and not to be able to speak up.
The story continues for more than a decade and literally never ended, cause nobody could get rid of the kid’s spirit who was floating around.
In the end just put the audience in a puzzle and mystery of sorrow and grief for has happened brutialy.At least had an ending somehow.

I was trying to write down some random sentences to help my students’ writing , but somehow my unconscious mind is trying to drag me down to write a story out of these, possibly it takes long time to pass form this stage.
Luring into the documents to find out the truth…

He could say anything to the parents he knew that they would say no to him, just said to her we much elope somewhere we can be together…
They claimed they have arrived first there and totally were discriminated the indigenous minorities,
The prosecutors alleged a life sentence for him, cause of his major crimes as he confessed reluctantly in the court…

The merit of leaving high school in early age:
There are so many contrary ideas about what is the best age get into the college.
When I look back on the time, when I was in junior high school I hated to be there for four years and especially the last year, everyday of it was such a night mare. Not just because I was lame, on the contrary I was one of the best, mature ones in the class.
Presumably, I can say for some students who have bunch of confident inside and see the difference between themselves and the others could be boring and even more sever annoying. I am talking about those diligent ones ,who want to robust what they have in their mind or need a spark for that, other wise all the instinct talent might be wasted.
There some kids have nothing to do in the last year instead of killing the time. Some need more activities and a better or higher quality of curriculums.
In fact, it is hard to separate them.
For instance, in my country (Iran) we have some special schools from middle schools for who are a bit more active and have higher IQ after passing the test and receiving an acceptable result lead to that type of school.
I am not in favor of those school for sure, as I have been there and spent 7 years, which was not too special, but the point is you are capable of doing and have enough stamina to get extra activities, physically and mentally, such as more projects, experiments, and tougher study subjects, for some of the best ones who will be satisfied and a bit more helpful to lead to a better and higher university.
By the end for who are gifted can plough what they have learned practically by the end of those years and make them satisfied, rather than feeling of being totally retied in some classes and feel useless of their age, which is destructive.
There some special curriculum in some countries as if you can get more credits then will be granted enter to the university, even before you receive your diploma, which I think is pretty cool.

This week is officially my last week of work and the following week will be the exam session.
In fact, as far as I am concern during these few years examination is a gigantic task, which is overwhelming the students’ life and shrink it sometimes in the way them beat them like death appear.
Frankly, I remember the time that I was in high school was pretty nasty too.
In Iran education system at school are pretty tough but totally different from Chinese system. Our terms are divided by 3 per year and we didn’t have winter holiday just a week broken and so on.
Nowadays for new generation might have been some changes, but the point is we had quizzes and mini tests which made us ready for big, giant exam at the end of first 3 months.
Additionally, I still have some times night mare from exam time at high schools.
Anyhow my university time was pretty mature and mellow.
No offence, I loved art and we had so many work shops every single day of week for hours and a lot project and tasks and basically exam didn’t have any sense so far like China in fact.
I could say part of it was just, maybe we studied art.
Today as I acted somehow like Chinese teachers for part of my exam session gave students a project to do in groups, they were still retired how to do it, even after a term making them ready of team working and being creative.
So, I gave them examples then farther explained it over 3 times for God sake! and 2 other parts I mentioned that I will come up with random questions and some problem solving cases .
Students were insisting and panicking what those questions are supposed to be! I told them if I give you the question and you memorized there is no point of having test.
Moreover, I told them “: see! All you need is to practice your self confidence and all I need is using grammar and vocabulary we talked about as much as possible properly. So don’t worry if you have been active enough.”
My point of view is how much exams and a monster of exam’s class make them fragile and swinging forward and backward.
In fact, as far as I am concern during these few years examination is a gigantic task, which is overwhelming the students’ life and shrink it sometimes in the way them beat them like death appear.

January 22
Friday 22 January 2010,trip to Holland:
We had a great, peaceful flight today, it took around 2 hours to get into the airport and we had so many bulky stuff, especially Wedding dress and bags to carry, and as usual the metro was pretty crowded, in the end we arrived around 10.30, which is one and half hour before our flight and very quickly, got into the check in.
We arrived 45 minutes early, in fact and Wijbren’s parents were waiting for us.
It was pleasant arriving and a nice family dinner together, afterwards.
Saturday, we tried to get into the Capital of Friesland( Leeuwarden)and Wijbren could hooked on his Dad’s car pleasently.In order to ge thereby all means was fun and we got some nice shopping over there,in sale market.
Moreover, we reached to 2 different Maques and unfortunately, as far as I am cooncern the Islamic marriages don’t go like that here, and we couldn’t get into any conclusion.
Sunday was nice, as we got up we saw plently of snow and took some nice pictures, then Wijbren could arrange to see one of his old friend, another Jurnalist who worte about us and our lives in China, in one of local newspapares, couple of months ago.
It was such a great time for couple of hours hangs out with somebody the same age as us.

December 26
Events on these past 2 days, so far:
Yesterday we got plenty of stuff for possibly the last or one before last soup of the year.
I intended to exchange my engagement ring as well we both find out something amazing which by the time that Wijbren both me a ring was not in the market. So far the trade went fairly well and I have got a new ring!
Today ,after we received the phone call from tailor, we got my wedding dress as soon as I tried it ,I felt it is pretty much what I wanted and was so fantastic, elegance on my body ,moreover I have got some jewelries which suits the dress in addition as well.
Moreover we had a nice Christmas Dinner with bunch of sea food and hot pot style of exclusive Chinese dishes, including filling and desserts in our common buffet place.
Out of the blue when we were unleashing our scooter a Chinese guard showed up as usual I thought he wants to make stupid conversation with foreigner ,but despite my anticipation he saw our wedding dress’s box and came and said in Chinese: “Gongxi Gongxi” which means congratulations based on a big events in a life .
In fact, he went further, and tried to complimenting us by saying a good choice and I am pretty and so on.
Then few meters before we reached to our flat, we came across with the headmaster of our department and almost the same type conversation went further.
I still don’t know if this time I am able tog et Eu visa, and feeling nervous as otherwise all plans and shopping and everything which is already set there and here will be fucked up!/
Anyhow sometimes news travels so fast and hard to keep for the right moment.

Today was the last official day of work for this week, due the Christmas time.
So here at University we have officially 4 days off and it is sweet to be at home with family and have a nice feast.
Me and Wijbren have some plans to buy some stuff and have a big meal together even we both are far from our parents our heart is with them and warm sharing time in hearts.
Moreover we are hopping we can find a nice ,proper jeweler shop for our rings and sort of our wedding dress as well.
Anyhow, I have received some nice gifts and eloquent surprises from my students and from one of the classes a short ,watery speech that how much they enjoyed the class and appreciated my hard work for this semester.

January 13, 2010:
Today has been one of the busy days in our winter vacation.
As I have planned before, we bought the things we needed, in general, but for organizing our trip and some souvenirs are still left.
As a matter of fact, we have just got our ticket today and it was bitterly expensive. In fact, we saved four months and spent it twice air trip to Europe and back!
How that sounds! But, sometimes, some events happens, like visiting parents, (still mine left for this summer) and then intend to get married, so we have to make in short time couple of trips around the world.
No complain, I am so happy, we can make it, precisely and that’s important.
After getting tickets, we have to deal with our Chinese department, over than a month holiday payment, which they have made mistake, we have to give them some amount back and wait till summer 2010.
Finally, another exclusive news is, we spent couple hours in a classic ,old souvenir districts to get some gifts for friends, who luckily, this time we make to see them in Europe and for Wijbren parents.
The point is the weather was so nasty and cold, bone scratching wind hauling and after 2 hours ,I hardly could walk ,cause my legs ,toes, nose were totally frozen and numbed.!
I am so happy we could get a nice tea jar (box), which can preserve tea, obviously it is Chinese and old type and especial.
I had an idea for long time, and rummaging it through my mind for a right time to do it, which was getting some stuff for my parents.
After being far from home for such a long time, especially recently that I made them trough trouble, in order to get my documents ready and gave them some other issues authorities, which I am not proud of it, but was unavoidable.
We still have some more shopping tomorrow weather well or not, we have done some how after that, besides I need to get to the post office, which might be pain, and sometimes literally is.
Today has been one of the busy days in our winter vacation.
As I have planned before, we bought the things we needed, in general, but for organizing our trip and some souvenirs are still left.
As a matter of fact, we have just got our ticket today and it was bitterly expensive. In fact, we saved four months and spent it twice air trip to Europe and back!
How that sounds! But, sometimes, some events happens, like visiting parents, (still mine left for this summer) and then intend to get married, so we have to make in short time couple of trips around the world.
No complain, I am so happy, we can make it, precisely and that’s important.
After getting tickets, we have to deal with our Chinese department, over than a month holiday payment, which they have made mistake, we have to give them some amount back and wait till summer 2010.
Finally, another exclusive news is, we spent couple hours in a classic ,old souvenir districts to get some gifts for friends, who luckily, this time we make to see them in Europe and for Wijbren parents.
The point is the weather was so nasty and cold, bone scratching wind hauling and after 2 hours ,I hardly could walk ,cause my legs ,toes, nose were totally frozen and numbed.!

This Friday was pretty much a busy, annoying day. We received a call from our office to go along with one person from office to the police station to renew our Chinese residence permit.
Actually, I must say, in each city in China the regulation is a bit different, moreor less. Anyhow, it took us half an hour by cab to get there, moreover we had an accompany, one of Asian-Russian art teacher, who we met at Christmas party. The dude was incredibly intruder and talkative.
Oh, man! I have always been thinking, I am a talkative person, but comparatively I just talk a lot in my classes. Somehow, we’ve realized with some reasons all foreigners, who come to China, whenever they get together and basically see another foreigner around, become incredibly curious in each other’s personal lives, talk and yank till their ears off!
Anyhow, being polite and keep the ettiquette ended getting pissed off as usual, that why some can’t get to the point, by saying rubbish stories and asking too many irrelevant questions.
I had my novel and Wijbren was carrying his Chinese book to kill he time there till work has been done. The dude wanted to sit beside me, surprisingly and yank off.
God the way back we had rush hour and got headache from pollution, cold, dry air, and besides taxi driver, was a retired one, because he couldn’t recognize the University’s address or how to get there, and we had usual story of being in a Chinese taxi.
In the afternoon, we got our shopping and I do love shopping, but honestly, during these few months, I have spent a lot, had to do so much shopping clothes and other items .Recently, kind of feeling enough is enough.
Still, no news from embassy related to my EU visa and can’t make any plans further.

It is another nice ,dazzling but cold weekend day here in Xian.
After reading news about how much pollution from exhausts of vehicles and further more from factories spread in the air ,particularly in Xian even more than some other industrial cities in China not feeling very well and optimistic at the moment.
We were going to the dance class some other days last week and every time I am about to have heart attack and get nervous ,even I am trying not to drive in the heart of traffic, but that’s maniac way of people wandering, rushing and swinging in the middle of traffic cars maneuvering .In fact, there is not rules in rush hour basically.
I am praying every time we have to go through this crazy traffic to be safe back home.
It has been just like strucking somewhere and can’t move. Sound pathetic.Yes,it is!.
In fact we don’t know how long will might stay in China .

Moreover Europe is still suffering from recession time.harldy can anybody get a decent job, though.

These days are nice and pleasant to pass or push time forward which utterly we hardly do that.
As it is the end of the first semester at University and things done and just examination sessions left behind, so nothing left to be worried about the need of course related to University facilities.
On the contrary by starting 2010, a new decade and I have wished a lot, but the priority is having a new life, as a new resemblance of freshness of this decade upcoming.
However, we have planned pretty precise and seems to be completely organized ,still we are waiting unwillingly to get the result of Chinese visa and EU visa which I can bet for everybody who lives as a foreigner somewhere is a hectic time.
I have been in contact with my Aunt recently out of the blue, as I had lost connection with them for while, but now I am hopping if we can spend sometime all together, as a big family and Wijbren will have a chance to see Scandinavian countries as well as seeing my relatives though.
As it is the end of the first semester at University and things done and just examination sessions left behind, so nothing left to be worried about the need of course related to University facilities.

Today was a total mess and I was incredibly busy as a bee.
In fact , recently, every couple of months ,so far I had to draw Euro from my account, because of our trips.
Personally, I don’t like going to banks particularly in China, stay there for official,beaucratic paper works, but sometimes is unavoidable, indeed.
This time, the story was about being there and after discovering they don’t have enough Euro to give me, which was so surprising, as it is my own money and if I need it ,I have to bark like a dog.
Further, as usual in China, they were insisting to exchange it to Chinese money.
Finally, I lost my temper ,in a sarcastic way ,in Chinese told them:” Am I seem to be a Chinese nation or what!>.I am telling you, I am going back to my country and need my bloody,fucking money.!”
Anyhow, I had to travel to 3 banks and from amount of I want ,could get 3 quarter and one quarter left. I gave up for now, but have decided ,luckily, after the trip and back to China close my Euro account for ever and some Euro, likely to have, keep them at home and me and Wijbren find an European bank to open a sharing account for our Chinese currency.
Anyhow, the story is not finished here. The second part of story was, to get to the main post office in the city,bacause ,apparently ,some other post offices don’t send parcels to out of the country, which took me another 2 hours on the scooter to get there and be back.
By the time ,I got there, they mistaken me with Chiense,and I said:” for god sake>!I want this parcel to get to Iran, transfer me to foreigner secessions”.
Sometiems,as a foreigner, who can speak and understand Chinese precisely and know enough about culture and how to react, finding to live here easily ,is pretty much a challenge.

We eventually reached to the point to have our own free time for a real journey, which I love. We left Hallum (a town where we stay with Wijbren’s parents, in Friesland) and got our first train in Leeuwarden.
We had plenty of time ahead in our schedule and it was good, rather than rushing and running to the station. Anyhow sitting on the first class it is nice though. we spent one hour and we had to change the train twice in 2 different cities and then we passed from the boarder and I had to spend a couple of extra Euro for international pass, which was duable.Our first stop changing train in Germany was Düsseldorf to Aachen.
In fact, Düsseldorf’s station was so nice and clean and variety of handy shops indeed. I do think maybe having had the first time a great impression about Germany or it is really nice and organized. Admittedly, I do enjoy passing each city by city in this country.
So now we are still in train going to our last destination Aken in less than an hour.

The first week of New Year events:
This week is pretty tough and harsh for me and on the contrary for Wijb was pretty lame and mellow.
Sometimes you can’t put words in together, but I am sad and happy at the same time.
In fact, kind of done with teaching for now and need my free time and late morning getting out of bed with relief.
He has been for two days in row to the University and without any explanations discovered his both classes have exam at the same time of his class session and nobody could be bothered to let him know.
Anyhow, presumably he is done and officially his term is over and for me, I have had 2 days and still 2 more days to go and over 250 students in total, to give them the oral test, which is in some ways, is a piece of cake, but on the other hand I feel nauseous at the end of each day.
Surprisingly ,this term my students are so obedience and studious, even today we had a make up class [Bu ke( In Chinese)] and all of show up and few of them were late ,so then they came up with official apology and texting to my mobile. I should say:”Oh dude “take it easy!””

First day of last week of work, news:
Yesterday, Monday after a long day of having exam session with students and some shopping in the time, I was slouching on the sofa and watching my favorite T.V programme, which is called” Daily show”, I received a phone from our head office that apparently the new version of contract is ready mad we need to sign.
In fact, the bureaucracy is unbelievably ragging around, in all Chinese offices and choking people to death.
No exaggeration, but after 2 weeks of sending documents and preparations, they just asked us again to sign some more paper sheets and I had to emphasize that we are getting ran out of time and need our “Chinese residence permit” as soon as possible, before Winter holiday.
Further more, getting back to the point, when we were passing through the path to the office, we noticed a sharp high pitch bird sound.
Well, one of our fatty, local, , monster spoiled cats was smart and fast enough to clutch and grip a poor song bird and by the time we were passing, it had already broken his neck and was trying to suffocating him smoothly and gently.
Hogged! So brutal, but it is part of the nature rules. You catch and you have been catch.
Ah! I still think of that poor bird.

These days we can see the view outside has changed enirely.The trees are almost leafless and half naked, when you are wandering around you can hear brown- greenish leaves and shrubs under your feet rattling or humming bird chanting under the rain enjoying the short autumn before it ends. There is no more joyous sound of birds chirping songs in the mornings. In the morning as it is is raining cats and dogs.
My only day weekend which means to be so precious to me. I t has been quite long time that I have enforced myself to do so many things. I have point it out in my previous blog stories.
In fact, today I am wondering I need some rest at least half of a day and I need to create this barrier in my mind and respect and do it. Some times I do have ambivalent feeling and then feeling guilt comes to me that why I am not doing enough in my off days, which is I know means to be a self pity personally…
I do go for some Dutch and Chinese study and read some newspapers as usual and listen to the book club BBC which is my favorite and can’t neglect it.
By no means, all these give me motivation and inspired me to be back to my drawing. Confessing that I need to squeeze the time to do some paintings nowadays and all is worth it.

Weekend is over, and I have organized stuff for my trip as well ,so many documents are needed to be signed and prepared for visa ,process is long and not unendurable.Honestly ,no other way.Hopping this time official things works as before for our following plans.
Anyhow, eventually Wijb could have the chance to get the first private students through the University’s principals.
The guy is quite high-social class and surgical -spine specialist, moreover has a reasonable good English as I have heard from Wijb.
Hopfully is going to be once a week class in our place from now on for a couple of months.I am pretty happy for Wijb.

Shabe Yalda

I have decided to use my free time today and write down a bit about one of Iranian traditional Festival as it classes ( shabe –Yalda) which the celebration of longest night of the year as Winter solstice appear in the Northen Hemisphere.
This Festival has a very long history and possibly some of Iranian doesn’t know all details even.
I am writing this for Wijbren, his family and everybody else who is interested in knowing different traditions about Zoroastrians and Iranians, basically.
On turning point, is Winter Solstice (December 21) and end of the longest night of the year (Darkness), and beginning of growing of the days (Lights); a celebration of Good over Evil. Shabe Yaldā (Persian: یلدا) or Shabe Chelle (Persian: شب چله) is an Iranian festival originally celebrated on the Northern Hemisphere's longest night of the year, that is, on the eve of the Winter Solstice.
The Eve of the Birth of Mithra, the Sun God 'Shab-e Yalda', celebrated on 21 December, has great significance in the Iranian calendar. It is the eve of the birth of Mithra, the Sun God, who symbolized light, goodness and strength on earth. Shab-e Yalda is a time of joy.
It is a time when friends and family gather together to eat, drink and read poetry (especially Hafiz) until well after midnight. Fruits and nuts are eaten and pomegranates and watermelons are particularly significant. The red colour in these fruits symbolises the crimson hues of dawn and glow of life, invoking the splendour of Mithra.
Because Shab-e Yalda is the longest and darkest night, it has come to symbolise many things in Persian poetry; separation from a loved one, loneliness and waiting. After Shab-e Yalda a transformation takes place - the waiting is over, light shines and goodness prevails.
Unfortunately and me and Wijbren were busy with work and doing other things so this year we had no celebration.
But I am trying either his or mine traditional festival to be celebrated and keep it as it is which is symbol of ancestors and part of us.

Today I totally feel fresh and energetic.
Lately, I have been sleeping badly and whenever I get up feeling like a shit and seem not having a wink at all.
With no reason to confess but I do think I have had enormous bunch of nightmares and thinking too much and planning unconsciously.
I have been sneaking in news details, which is my hobbies every now and then, moreover studying Chinese lessons and besides writing my blog, and more important getting ready for our Christmas Brunch in a French restaurant.
From our department has informed us we are going to celebrate Christmas a bit early with a feast, therefore we are hopping to have a nice, friendly atmosphere with others, but still it is 2 weeks to go.
Today I totally feel fresh and energetic.
Lately, I have been sleeping badly and whenever I get up feeling like a shit and seem not having a wink at all.
With no reason to confess but I do think I have had enormous bunch of nightmares and thinking too much and planning unconsciously.

Christmas 2009 for us:
This weekend didn’t have any resemblance to another weekend with some reasons, first of all it unexpectedly started from Thursday cause of Christmas time ,so far the last 2 days up to now have been so eloquent days for us as, we did so many precisely stuff.
Firstly, I must mention about our not too spacious but lovely, cozy apartment which we both got some nice design and embellished artistically.
Thanks to my students somehow as well, cause they gave me some precisely Christmas gifts as chocolates, sweets and jewelleries plus so many Christmas cards.
For Christmas Eve, we both decided not to get woozy and don’t use booze. On the contrary we have chosen some nice movies to watch and have a big meal for Eve and Christmas day and some nice shopping as well.
Slouching on the coach under candle lights with lamp shade lights and Christmas hanging is something you can’t neglect.
Frankly, it is so good to us to have 2 different holidays and festivals even though we both celebrate different New Year. I bet it will be fascinating in future for our kids to grow in multi cultural- linguistic family.

Yesterday we got plenty of stuff for possibly the last or one before last soup of the year.
I intended to exchange my engagement ring as well. We have both found out something amazing which by the time that Wijbren bought me a ring was not in the market. So far the trade went fairly well and I have got a new ring!
Today ,after receiving the phone call from tailor, we got my wedding dress as soon as I tried it, I felt it is pretty much what I wanted and was so fantastic, elegance on my body ,moreover I have got some jewelries which suits the dress in addition as well.
Moreover we had a nice Christmas Dinner with bunch of sea food s and hot pot style of exclusive Chinese dishes, including filling and desserts in our common buffet place.
Out of the blue when we were unleashing our scooter a Chinese guard showed up as usual I thought he wants to make stupid conversation with foreigner ,but despite my anticipation he saw our wedding dress’s box and came and said in Chinese: “Gongxi Gongxi” which means congratulations based on a big events in a life .
In fact, he went even further and tried complimenting us by saying a good choice and I am pretty and so on.
Then few meters before we reached to our flat, we came across with the headmaster of our department and almost the same type conversation went further.
I still don’t know if this time I am able to get EU visa, and feeling nervous as otherwise all plans and shopping and everything which is already set there and here will be fucked up!/
Anyhow sometimes news travels so fast and hard to keep for the right moment.

Thursday events:
Last Thrusday I had to cancel my class in the morning and asked Wijb to keep my class in the afteernoon in order to reach to Beijing.
It was planed from couple of months ago and I couldn’t find any other convenient time.
I went to apply for Duth visa for our winter vacation.But as usual things always doesn’t work as we expect or we plan ahead.
My flight was pretty good and I reached there and welocmed warmly in the hostel as a memember (cause they know me quite well), moreover I hit Iran embassy to ask further questions related to our marriage and conversion to Islam, as Wijb needs to do that in order to get married in islamic way, then he will be freely to be able to come to Iranand further our local marriage (European) will be known legal, which is essential for future for us as a family.
No matter what, the consulate told me that it is possible to do it in some other ways, much easier, which was totally good news, but unfortunately, I couldn’t extended my driving license.
Friday, as I had appointment going to Dutch embassy .I was not lucky and for interview.
I had a Chinese arrogant chick, who couldn’t understand English properly or either speak Dutch at all, so I had pretty annoying, frustrating time to legalise my oragnised, completed documents and so far, the interview went pretty crap.
I was totally pissed off of being ignored by Chinese, as I am a foreigner and at least to have interview with somebody understand international language properly.
But in China we screwed for so many reasons, and because of all these cases, even we get paid well and have easy life and can travel anywhere easily.
In fact, I want to leave China soon, to be able to livre somewhere who people have a better concept of scoial manners.
Anyhow, Now I am tired and sick( casue Beijing weather and sick people around spitting and sneezing all the time in public places)any how, back home brings feeling good .

Yesterday we had nice time going to our regular place shopping some stuff for home and the way back another shocking Chinese cases show up.
Three girls were laughing and strolling from the pavement, intending crossing the street without paying attention to the traffic light and one of them keep talking on the bloody phone without looking around passing the street from red light like walking in the pavement. We had to curse her and shout, still she didn’t care. She could die, simply!
Chinese women piss me off in so many ways and this is not the first time.
Acting like a snake, not showing their real personality to grab a foreign man, but whenever the time comes that needed to plan for future or think ahead and be logical acting like a doll and a baby who is just born!
Anyhow no offence ,But whenever I watch Chinese movies or Japanese , are all the same, being woman means being like a retired , playing fool around and act completely useless. Such a shame!
Last night we were watching a Japanese horror movie which another American version appeared on the screen couple of years ago, called “The Grudge”.
I do like Horror movie no discrimination, but after watching 2 horror Japanese movies, I presumably can confess I am done.
The Theme was so repeat ting like the first movie.
In brief, the story happened in the first place, is in one of haunted houses which are cursed by a woman who was murdered harshly and brutally by her husband and their child was killed too. The ghost, basically follows anybody who turns up there or their relatives till they will be died brutally. The house is overwhelmed by ghosts and severs supernatural power and being cursed.
Anyhow, the film studio makes decision to produce another horror movie there in term of making public satisfaction or what.
In the end the main actress who is the last person survived with an illegitimate ghost child gives birth, then in few years having possessed ghost, kills her and that’s end of their story.
I am happy t the end I didn’t end up with night mares with such a bland, monotonous theme.

The first day of the week, started quite ordinary but ended with nice surprises and pleasantly.
I had classes at University to teach as usual, but for my second class one of the students was playing with something inside his desk and draw the attention of me and others and his friends was his toot and said” he has got a present for you”. I appreciated but it didn’t long last and he gave me Christmas card and after ward of my appreciation.
Further more, I was teaching social manner and etiquettes in the class as our day topic, which was relevant to the gift somehow as well, so I flash to other things further.
The next hour after break, out of sudden, I realized some students are missing and then they showed up with a Stocking which was gifts inside and some other Christmas cards and hand paintings which were really nice and sweet.
Then our supervisor turned up to give us papers for exam session and gave another good news of canceling Christmas eve’s classes which is pretty nice from Chinese governmental sessions like Universities.

Saturday December 6th, 2009:
It is another nice, dazzling but cold weekend in Xian.
On reading news about how much pollution from exhausts of vehicles further or factories is spreading in the air, particularly in Xian even more than some other industrial cities in China. Naturally, I am not feeling very well and optimistic at the moment.
We were going to the dance class some other days last week and every time I am about to have heart attack and get nervous, even I am trying not to drive in the heart of traffic, but that’s maniac way of people wandering, rushing and swinging in the middle of traffic cars maneuvering .In fact, there is not rules in rush hour basically.
I am praying every time we have to go through this crazy traffic to be safe back home.
It has been just like strucking somewhere and can’t move. Sound pathetic.Yes, it is!
In fact we don’t know how long will might stay in China.
After getting married, I was thinking earlier to live here for another year, but I have fears about Wijbren and he can’t make his mind at all.
Admittedly, Europe is still suffering from recession time, and hardly can anybody get a decent job, though.
I don’t want to stay too long in China; on one hand we are completely secure here on the other hand not earning that much to be able to save a lot for future.
Regardless our traveling to Europe and other part of China, marriage and engagement ceremonies costs, every now and then and other dependences appear though.

My favorite ps2 game
Recently due to having a long break from work, giving me a great excuse to spend couple of hours playing PS2 games as a hobby, which if I am in mood of.
One of the games that I have been fascinated by is fatal frame 1 and now I am going to play the second one.
In fact, I don’t like violence or beating and kicking which means most of those Japanese fancy games, which are covered by all these actions are not type of games to go in for.
But, luckily there are couple of those which go through stories like for instance “Escape from monkey Island “which shows a retired peaceful mind light hearted-pirate, who fell in love with the governor’s daughter and married her and the story follows up by so much adventures and puzzle in the game needed to be solved.
Another game is fatal frame which expose a beautiful scenery of a huge Japanese mansion where is haunted by ghosts, more likely scary and gloomy, dark, damp and creepy area, but not violence.
It is talking about ritual and voodoos and exorcism and the good part is you need to practice your patience and be bold enough not to scream in meanwhile killing ghosts other wise you can’t finish the game, simply. Farther need to solve pretty much mini –puzzles to get more score for higher level
I do love the parts which I need to find out the puzzle and most enigmatic parts in the game.
THERE IS A GIRL WHO ENTER TO THE MANSION TO LOOKFOR HER MISSING BROTHER, CAUSE EARLIER HER MOTHER GONE AND NEVER CAME BACK AND NOW THE SAME THINGS HAS HAPPENED TO HER BROTHER WHICH ARE STILL UNKNOWN AND LITERALLY SHE IS TRYING TO FIND TRACES AND CLUES AND FINALLY SHE FIND A LOT OF CLUE LIKE A MAGIC CAMERA WITH EXTRA ABILITY TO KLL THE GHOSTS AND OTHER THINGS APPEAR….
She tripped in the mansion and knocked down couple of times with traumatic injuries by ghosts and especial power and needs to find a way to survive. There are some ways in each state as she can be animated from unanimated by drinking sacred water and other tools. She made a lot of interrogations how and what happened to that famous Japanese family and how brutally they have been murdered, felonies and crimes been unveiled to her during the process sing of higher level of game.

Iran beyond the stereotypes:
It is totally a contradictory and complex situation, which people think I might be crazy to mention it in this way. But, the reality is hard to unveil, some realize it and some not to believe till they see and feel themselves.
To be honest, the conclusion comes up with what the readers think and I keep it totally open, on your hand. No prejudgment!
First of all, let me start mentioning what is in my head.
I read an article about British and American guys who traveled to Iran one in 2005 and the other recently. They have observed a lot of things, then published what they have seen and took plenty of photos so far.
Particularly one of had the intention to show the pictures to his wife persuading her Iran is not a grim or wobbly place to visit and all these tension not necessary make the life hard or a lot of things happen in some ways you may not believe easily.
In fact, it is the same situation for me to convince my boyfriend, who supposed to be my husband soon, luckily to visit my homeland and my family, and he has been too cautious about the fluctuated political situation till now!
I know I am killing the reader as I have started from the end of story to the beginning which is not my style of writing, but at the moment can’t help it in another way.
We all read and see a lot of harsh activities and news about government actions and their mentality and their politics which put my people under a condition of being tortured for what they think and what they want, a lot are conservatives and some moderated and some others are moderates.
Majority of liberal-minded and moderates are living out of the country, but the point is what we see and read on the news and what is in reality happening or behind the doors of people and their homes or their mind not the same.
Those guys had intention to make a clear face of Iranian attitudes, cluture and traditions in a pragmatic way beyond of political news and pictures which appears in media.
One of them claimed his American wife reject to visit Iran after even their 10 years marriage, which I wouldn’t be surprised at all.
I would suggest you have aloof on their pictures and their articles which I should confess are pretty much the reality of families and their way of living is.

I read an article about British and American guys who traveled to Iran one in 2005 and the other recently. They have observed a lot of things, then published what they have seen and took plenty of photos so far.
Particularly one of had the intention to show the pictures to his wife persuading her Iran is not a grim or wobbly place to visit and all these tension not necessary make the life hard or a lot of things happen in some ways you may not believe easily.
In fact, it is the same situation for me to convince my boyfriend, who supposed to be my husband soon, luckily to visit my homeland and my family, and he has been too cautious about the fluctuated political situation till now!
I know I am killing the reader as I have started from the end of story to the beginning which is not my style of writing, but at the moment can’t help it in another way.
We all read and see a lot of harsh activities and news about government actions and their mentality and their politics which put my people under a condition of being tortured for what they think and what they want, a lot are conservatives and some moderated and some others are moderates.
Majority of liberal-minded and moderates are living out of the country, but the point is what we see and read on the news and what is in reality happening or behind the doors of people and their homes or their mind not the same.
Those guys had intention to make a clear face of Iranian attitudes, cluture and traditions in a pragmatic way beyond of political news and pictures which appears in media.
One of them claimed his American wife reject to visit Iran after even their 10 years marriage, which I wouldn’t be surprised at all.
I would suggest you have aloof on their pictures and their articles which I should confess are pretty much the reality of families and their way of living is.

The weather has totally change a massive change.Inititally the temperature has dropped more than 10 degree in less than a day and at nights reach to minuses.
This morning when we woke up to get ready for classes, while I was walking to our department which is just a 15 minute walking distance I realized squeaky, cracky sounds of flurries under my feet and in less than hour we handsome hails and I was telling my students about the city (Tehran) where I grew up and switched the topic to the weather and how much climate has changed or effected somehow.
Besides, today we had the first snow fall in November in Xian; which is after being 5 years in South west of China full of rain and storms, now we are back to a cold weather in winters like Tehran (capital of Iran).

It has been quite long time, over than some decades that scientists are warning, environmentalist are unveiling disastrous, shocking news about our environment.
They try to express and tell us, all of us what is happening before than it gets too late. But the question is who is responsible for all these?
Maybe in this century one of the hottest social news is talking about environmental issues.
A lot of people believe that we are reaching to highest capacity of population on earth; a lot believe no one is responsible and nothing can do about it!
Every other day, as we glance on the news we see some specious are in danger or die out, Ice bergs and glaciers are melting incredibly fast due to over doses of carbon dioxide and other cemicals, casued by mainly factories.
As the estimation shows, every year we are sending million tons of green house gases into our environment.
We buries and fuel our wastes in the soil, in the sea and anywhere out of our site, but when the results appears as sever earthquake, landslides, hurricanes, floods, then wondering why we have too many natural disasters in this century?!
What is happening to the earth?
Producing and producing, being too fast forward without any protection, or possibly being so ignorant to all things around and forget about nature, followed by cause all kind of pollutions that we face today. Air, noise, water and land pollution.
It is good to see how industry develops and economy gets richer and better, but in what value?
Value of destroying our nation and next generation’s life? Cost of putting a big question mark in front of so many questions which can’t give any reply to our children and future generation?
Who is responsible for all these?
It would happen one day as we are making a modern, industrial life, so eco system must follow up and back up naturally with all these changes?
Well, it is too brutal and easy to handover the responsibility to others.
To sum up, what is unveiling and happen now is all of us responsibility.
It is an awareness and warning to what we do, each of us in any position that we have to take care and protect the nature and literally our lives and next generations.

Events on these past 2 days,so far:
Yesterday we got plenty of stuff for possibly the last or one before last soup of the year .
I intended to exchange my engagement ring as well we both find out something amazing which by the time that Wijbren bouth me a ring was not in the market. So far the trade went fairly well and I have got a new ring!.
Today ,after we received the phone call from tailor, we got my wedding dress as soon as I tried it ,I felt it is pretty much what I wanted and was so fantastic, elegance on my body ,moreover I have got some jewelries which suits the dress in addition as well.
Moreover we had a nice Christmas Dinner with bunch of sea food s and hot pot style of exclusive Chinese dishes ,including filling and desserts in our common buffet place .
Out of the blue when we were unleashing our scooter a Chinese guard showed up as usual I thought he wants to make stupid conversation with foreigner ,but despite my anticipation he saw our wedding dress’s box and came and said in Chinese: “Gongxi Gongxi” which means congratulations based on a big events in a life .
In fact, he went further, and tried to complimenting us by saying a good choice and I am pretty and so on.!
Then few meters before we reached to our flat ,we came across with the headmaster of our department and almost the same type conversation went further.
I still don’t know if this time I am able tog et Eu visa, and feeling nervous as otherwise all plans and shopping and everything which is already set there and here will be fucked up!/

Concert in Xian
Yesterday was another nice Tuesday particularly, as we were invited by University’s department to a very famous concert due to New Year occasion.
The concert took about 2 and half hour and the first part was a Solo Japanese female musician and second part was another famous Chinese violinist male with accompany of piano, and that was terrific and so fascinating.
I did enjoy attending in classical concerts and stage acting theater a couple of times, while I was working in Hang Zhou city .I must say they have pretty much good quality of concert halls in China.
Well, so far China has a great reputation of Asian theater and stage acting and Chinese operas, but auditorium is pretty nice and exclusive which really impressed me here and before back in Hang Zhou and Beijing as well.
The tickets for concert are pretty expensive and just made for first class citizens.
The concert that we have been invited was almost 90 Euro which in Chinese currency is really expensive for middle class citizens so far.
To my surprise, I have noticed so many couples came along with their offspring in order to encourage them to classical music and see one of their famous musicians which was fantastic action from them, in fact.
In mean time I was drooling in my dreams and was impressed with the music and their great performance, remembering how much my dad was trying to encourage me as a child to play violin; took me to concert and put classical music beside my ears on bed time. Actually, it was part of bed time stories. Now I am really proud of my family of what they really did for me, especially during the war time in Iran back to 25, 6 years ago on that gloomy, murky time of finance and corruption and ill economy system.
They have spent their own weekends, flourishing and feeding my artistic talents through music, art, sports and languages, which were tremendously expensive and exclusive those times.

What I am sure now is whatever we deal with and tackle in our childhood is like curving on a stone and pretty much comes back and illustrated your future life, soon or late you will see the result.
This is pretty hard to judge and claim or make it as a controversial issue for everybody; indeed, but I can say for sure how much effective was for me and my life nowadays.
I was kind of isolated and reserved person when I was a kid. Hardly, I had just a few friends around and that was all.
I would prefer to creep inside of my mind and imagine things and create my own games. I was pretty busy with my visual art, as Music and paintings had no sister or brother and basically my Mum was the best and closest friend that I had.
As the matter of fact, my art activities and solitary games, which I was enjoying in my childhood, were the best healing for my mind and constructing my mind for future.
It is not comparable with my life nowadays after teenager hood time, at all.
When I finished high school and chose art as major, things widely changed in my life and I was a very talkative, fairly sociable person and discovered how much I do love traveling.

October National Holiday
October first, Thursday;
Today is the first official day of National holiday in China and especially this year has more effect as it is the 60th anniversary of republic of china.
It is great to see the ambience of city and streets during the holidays as everywhere is kind of idle ,tranquil and peaceful you can breath easier and not that much traffic and honking horn and noise pollution hit your face.
Hu jin tau ,The Chinese president made a big ,foppish speech on Tiananmen square in the center of Beijing ,talked about opening- up policy and socialism. The development and the progress during these 60 years in china, in which is a truth in fact.
But actually if we go back before opening doors to thee world and making free trade, China was almost around 30 years was struggling after referendum of Chairman Mao who is the symbol of freedom from capitalism and bring republic to china.
As a matter of fact you can feel how fundamentally china has been changing , particularly during the last decade.
This is the sixth year that I have been living in China and this year as last October me and Wijb decided not to go on trip anywhere and save the money for January, as winter holiday possibly go to Europe again and plans for marriage eventually and hopefully.
Anyhow we have a-7 more day holiday and I have to go back to work earlier than Wijb as I presume from the news which I have heard.
Recently I am using my time to do something especial with painting .In fact from picture and memories from Germany and Holland to create character and make them alive by drawing on the paper and add colors. So I am luckily in mood of painting and I am so delighted about it.
Today I was in middle of a sketch from Wijb’’s face and then have decided to add some color to my preliminary well-done sketch.
It is a good feeling for an artist when try to transfer her/his mind and feeling in the paper and communicate with audiences ,but not this feeling is elusive. As far as I know myself maybe others similar to me, as in a period of time I am so impulsive and obsessive to do something what ever it could be and it needed to be done, it must be ended, otherwise my days go hell and monotonous.
It doesn’t need to be very foppish masterpiece, it can be some idyllic black and white charcoal style sketches, but it talks to me and gives me motivation how to expose inside of myself.

My feeling after seeing the most outrages, deisgusting, fearful scenery:
I could call myself self-confidence, self-assure, or hope not too self-center, but somehow that make sense.
I have noticed my writing from clunky, disorganized sentences has reached to proper daily sorties, which I can proudly post them on my blog, but still need to work on and pretty long way to go. I can be inspiration, determination, atmosphere, hardworking, insisting are keys of success in general.
Sounds a bit outrageous as what you think and it is in your mind and how to present and expose it to the public.
Writing sorties is not an easy job, neither for natives nor none.
Wijb has an instinct feeling or talent to write some thing down, but I didn’t like writing couple or years ago. Now my ego has grown up so fast, so I am overwhelmed with what I read through novels and how present what I think on the paper.
Sometimes your brain is going to detonate as you hear and feel a sudden unexpected circumstance.
It started on a rainy, dark doomed night in one of autumn nights when I was alone at home.
While I was slouching on the coach and enjoying me, suddenly, and harsh sound and some unusual craggy faces popped up from the wall, crawling
It was the most utmost incident which ahs happened in my life, I was terrified and frozen and my face color turned to pale and couldn’t move. I was truly terrified.
I couldn’t recognize what it was possibly can call that a ghost, zombie with reddish eyes or hollows and lofty hair…
Well I keep the rest for reader how would you like to continue this story. I might be back on the next blog with some other ideas to end this unfinished story...

Recently as I have had along break from work I have had a great excuse to spend couple of hours playing PS2 games besides my arts as a hobby which if I am in mood I will go for that first.
One of the games I have been fascinated by is fatal frame1 and now I am going to play the second one.
In fact I don’t like violence or beating and kicking which means most of those Japanese fancy games which are covered by all these actions are not my type of games to go for.
But, luckily there are couple of those which go through stories like for instance “Escape from monkey Island “which shows a retired peaceful mind light hearted-pirate who fell in love with the governor’s daughter and married her and the story follows up by so much adventures and puzzle in the game needed to be solved.
Another game is fatal frame which expose a beautiful scenery of a huge Japanese mansion where is haunted by ghosts, more likely scary and gloomy ,dark, damp and creepy area, but not violence .
It is talking about ritual and voodoos and exorcism and the good part is you need to practice your patience and be bold enough not to scream in meanwhile killing ghosts other wise you cant finish the game ,simply. Farther need to solve pretty much mini –puzzles tog et more score for higher level
.I do love the parts which I need to find out the puzzle and most enigmatic parts in the game.
THERE IS A GIRL WHO ENTER TO THE MANSION TO LOOKFOR HER MISSING BROTHER,CAUSE EARLIER HER MOTHER GONE AND NEVER CAME BACK AND NOW THE SAME THINGS HAS HAPPENED TO HER BROTHER WHICH ARE STILL UNKNOWN AND LITERALLY SHE IS TRYING TO FIND TRACES AND CLUES AND FINALLY SHE FIND A LOT OF CLUE LIKE A MAGIC CAMERA WITH EXTRA ABILITY TO KLL THE GHOSTS AND OTHER THINGS APPEAR….
She tripped in the mansion and knocked down couple of times with traumatic injuries by ghosts and especial power and needs to find a way to survive. there are some ways in each state as she can be animated from unanimated by drinking sacred water and other tools ..and she made a lot of interrogations how and what happened to that famous Japanese family and how brutally they have been murdered and felonies and crimes been unveiled to her during the process sing of higher level of game.

Sunday time!
A big unexpected feast on Saturday lunch, with a nicely cooperation video game, it makes everything as perfect that it should be.
It was a great cooperation without fighting and pissing each other off in the end.
There is couple of Ninja Games which I am getting into them so much.
Actually, they are nice and particularly the second one, which uses a bit more advance tools and more you can do in the game and tolerable, but all is about being patient which is a great exercise and good activity indeed.
Today is another Sunday and it is snowing lightly.
Personally, don’t like watery, heavy snowfall as it doesn’t stand on the ground and melts immediately, then it makes you completely soak as soon as you get out.
It is the second snow fall during this week so ar which is amazing.
I am wondering that tomorrow afternoon we might have a chance to make our snow man, even wijb prefer to sit at home and enjoy hot drink, by all means.
Wijb has made two beautiful long hanks of peanuts for birds to come around and eat.
Feeding birds in winter is a great, marvelous attitude, but we haven’t seen any.
I am wondering supposing Chinese have made some birds´ trap to catch them for their lunch; well, they eat everything no offence.

Personally, don’t like watery, heavy snowfall as it doesn’t stand on the ground and melts immediately, then it makes you completely soak as soon as you get out.

I am wondering that tomorrow afternoon we might have a chance to make our snow man, even wijb prefer to sit at home and enjoy hot drink, by all means.
Wijb has made two beautiful long hanks of peanuts for birds to come around and eat.
Feeding birds in winter is a great, marvelous attitude, but we haven’t seen any.
I am wondering supposing Chinese have made some birds´ trap to catch them for their lunch; well, they eat everything no offence.

All venues are happening in an atmosphere, inclding being abducted by aliens or putting different nations as Jews, Inidans, Muslems and Irish like Kyle small adopted brother, under criticism and questions.
The show is based on the short film by Trey Parker and Matt Stone, "The Spirit of Christmas".
There we have a starter who T.V series is spinning round is ‘Carmen_ a fat, obnoxious, racist, rude, obnoxious, sadistic four grade kid on the other hand, we have “Kyle” who is an iconic Jewish kid.
This T.V series give so much sense if you go deeply trough cause it has been made after the real news happened and comes through news then in less than a week goes under the cast hand to make it and represent it to the public.

These recent days were totally outrages and mind throbbing, well guess what.
My poor Wijb has got a bad flue. That’s obvious flue is flue, but we have a severe, fragile situation in this city and our campus which is Swine flue around and you never know who has who doesn’t.
The health care system in China is untidy and not advanced at all, there is no precaution either.
Frankly is not god to be in quarantine and it would affect our life as we are two here and work limitation moreover would come next.
In general, I have a very bad impression about cold and flue; still remembering when I was too young and how my mum used to prevent or cure the flu.
Frankly, I don’t like flue as it is a very primitive disease but affect your body immunization and make you ready to get more sever disease in fact.
Luckily herbal drugs not required hard challenge to find in China.
Anyhow we had to cancel our dance class on Wednesday.
I proposed about dace class to Wijb as I knew he wouldn’t dare to say and reluctantly want to go.

Yesterday, I was off from work and we were planning to go to the Silk Market to have a look around. The option was to choose something ready made or find a tailor to make it for me a wedding dress.
No complain, but it took me weeks to think about it; finally I couldn’t convince myself to wear a Chinese handmade IPO.
No offence, but it is a bit weird, as I am not Chinese and It might be nice to have Qipao for night dress but not for wedding.
Personally, I think it is not elegance enough as a Wedding dress and I prefer fluffy dresses, even for one night, which supposed to be one night in our life for ever to keep the memories and traditions.
We agreed to go back to some more Wedding shops. We passed by some, the other days and see what we can get, though.
All the process took us less than an hour, and there were few wedding shops and studio and they came up talking to us and we could respond wisely in Chinese and asked us about Wedding tradition in West and Iran.
So far we found out maybe after we have our own album made there (In Holland) hopefully, we might be able to make something nice here but that’s need a precaution and thinking.
I was so excited to find something nice style and lovely in my body, really suit, and moreover the model was not ordinary and common, with a very reasonable price less then 200 Euro with all accessories including. I am just so happy all about it and count down till day it will be ready to try.
Life in Asia and East Asia as we are here is easy, prices much cheaper than Europe and if somebody is patient enough learning the language and start doing some business, might have a great lovely life though.

How we can be a good parents and how parenting is important!
Being a good parent means what?
In fact some think as long as you provide a shelter and breeding them and sending to the school the rest is teacher’s responsibilities.
Others say that they don’t see their children that much and have no time to spend with them which is very common and unfortunately destructive to build a child’s personality and character for future.
Nowadays a lot of parents have less time than before to spend with their children or use take care system.
In fact even from the early age after born a baby and toddler is grasping things by watching and saving in his unconscious mind. It is hard to distinguish when and how to treat and teach kid’s good and bad things.
Some parents still believe eon physical punishment as the best way of thresatenening and making a positive discipline or refer it to older generation.
On the other hand, some others give their kids so much freedom and say they learn it by themselves. Actually, make their own job pretty easy, in some ways, but later on when it comes to some disobediences and misbehavior try to find a clue and hint on society, school, friends, others but not on themselves.
But the question is what we can do and how?
I do believe that kid’s understood as much as an adult and express it in a very deferent way.
If a child does a bad action and does some thing wrong, could be they best try to solve and find they way what was his/her desire and what he wanted to say and show by doing that and talk to kid in his own childish language and instead of putting them under guilt and pressure, try to find the best solution with them.
Most of the time kid’s do something to draw attention, some times they have been neglected and some other times they are suffering for a deep emotion, such as sadness, depressed, annoyed and being lonely.
So we find it then we can easily come with best hint.
Moreover, instead of killing their actions can lead them to direct way, from indirect leading them.
Maybe we can call it” discipline without disgrace”.
Is never late to tell kid’s you love them and hold them tight in meantime. Always listen to them and some times whisper advice in their ears. They love it. Try to build self –worth and self-confident inside them.
I do belive everybody can be a great parents.

What do I think about modern, over educated women and their personal life?
I was reading an article which was about how elite women decide to resign from their even upscale, ideal jobs due to taking care of their kids.
I am still not a parent, as for me and my partner Wijb can have plenty of time to spend on each other, doing our hobbies and work as well.
In fact our jobs, as a teacher at university is pretty light job, occupied us for couple of hours per week. I call it “our lucky time of our life”. I know it won’t be for ever like this I don’t want it at least for him.
In fact, I think instead of he stays at home and play computer games and does his other hobbies, which I respect and support him for now, he can have a full time job and financially keep us more secure for unknown far future, although we are happy now and have enough to save then.
Anyhow, to be an educated, independent woman, sometimes I think deeply about whenever having a child and doubly I might not be able to do both tasks very well.
It is an instinct, platonic love toward kids and family which grows in a certain time of motherhood, presumably.
In order to take care of baby well which obviously consume couple of first years full attention from mum, rather than having a babysitter, not spending enough time for kid and family, or not having time to cook properly, no decent food, not be able to have a fun conversation on the phone and at the same time change baby’s nappies or do something’s else at the same time, cause not having enough time for anything, and just get microwave, warm up dishes which tastes cranky.
I don’t want to exaggerate the situation, but that’s what I have seen and what for years my mum did, unfortunately.
I am trying to do in different way for my kid and try to escape form that guilt of my conscious mind of missing work as I have done it for years.
On the other hand we have a kind of guilt of not working outside.
If we do it feel it what I am raised for, studied hard even till now, and get a good ,respected position and why one day I should let it go, for what and in which price?
Is it that we want?!

Sometimes there are marky, wague and blur images in your mind which you can’t figure out what is going on and happening in your life and around you.
It is exactly happening in my life nowadays and some of these pictures are solid in my mind.
Somehow some excruciating fear about future life has captured and surrounded me.
Our daily life is thriving smoothly and no creepy ,or huge events happening ,besides from now thinking about organizing and scheming for the marriage ceremony and more important my visa ,meanwhile dealing and sorting out stuff with University end of semester.
I used to think it is pretty is easy, to get married but now I am nervous and worried of whole thing and matters.
Obviously, things need to plan ahead, but the process of documents hopefully be accepted and ratified and after the news for municipal personal things to think and organized.
Somehow dreadful ideas about nothing go wrong.
Hopefully we have Wijb’s parents to help out and organize things ahead.
We are still waiting to hear if all documents are accepted and ratified there and more over what is very vague and irritating nowadays is Swine Flue, which hit our campus at university last month and it was night mare for 2 weeks the school was shut down and everybody freaked out.
Today I discovered again the gate is jammed and a narrow line passing and guards are testing the temperature again.
Well I don’t why always things happen at the same time. I am trying not to be disgraceful and touchy with events but so far hopping for best to happen.
Besides those documents which occupied our mind for couple months and hassles of preparing them for us and families, and so far not sure that everything is fine, worried about Visa to Europe and the last horrifying thing is if school again will be closed for a while.
Well, I don’t want to destroy my national winter holiday be affected by this news and more over on our marriage time.

Having a short fight yesterday and spending 2 days fuss in pot between me and Wijb, today we had a better feeling and both of us tried in different way to apologize and make it up.
Our discussions are usually for nothing and we fight for small, stupid things, such as a dress or where to go on holiday...
Anyhow, it has been 2 days that I am depressed cause I expected Wijb at least spends half of the money for clothes costs, which I usually pay myself, owing to costing so much, on the contrary he came up with ideas that those night dresses are too luxury and expensive and on and on..
Anyhow, today I paid myself and got them then afterwards felt much better, in meantime he tried to be nice and help me this time cleaning house with getting fussy, craggy face and spend a big bunch of money which some part of it is from his Birthday gift from his Dad buying a new “X-BOX” game.
Men are always men .You can’t change them and we shouldn’t try other wise always discussion appeared for nothing.
At least, I am happy he got something he likes, but I would say he needed to get more nice clothes!
I am really delighted to see the clothes here are in my size, and moreover so fashionable and comparably to Europe pretty cheap and reasonable.

Another working day but a bit different as nature has celebrated of winter by wearing a proper, exotic white dress.
The first snow started from yesterday while we were in dance class, unbelievably was cold and spine-chilling at the end of our dance class around eightyish the streets were covered but snow and was so amazing and nicely done.
I had a small accident on the steps out of dance class. In china they like making steps and floors with marble and mosaics, which is killer, especially when it rains or snows.
Everywhere was so watery and slippery, I slide down from 4 steps and couldn’t stand, luckily no severe, major injuries but for couple of weeks will have bruises and swollen legs.
Brunches and shrubs fell everywhere it was actually a bit pathetic to see beautiful big brunches are on the floor as the first snow is pretty heavy and watery, so cause of so much for trees.
Walking is a challenge today, as roads are watery and slippery, after and a flurry evening and a cold, frozen, snowy night, morning’s scenery is beautiful and touching to see but need to be cautious. Bushes are covered and hidden by snow.
Some of the kids took advantage and in their break time were making snow man and throw snow ball at each other.
My students were a bit late and luckily I didn’t have the first hour teaching, the way back was wandering around and watching kids playing and saw couple nice, and precise snowman’s which were made artistically.

As I am getting more and more aware of Western society by reading more , watching movies ,contacting EU people more than past time and the most important thing ,traveling ,seeing the reality behind what looks like or have been told to us from especially The Britain.
Anyhow back to comedy show ,this sitcom ,reveal the manager appears a very component ,genuine person with a big grin all the time and try by teasing and having sense of humor make the office’s atmosphere more durable ,despite being aware of insulting, people and being so racist to gender specifically and other races though.
He tries to ignore the statistic whenever he has a meeting with his boss( owner of the factory, office) and look at her down by saying stupid ,outrageous jokes and kind of being ignorant person.
It is nice to see how people there try to keep their sense of humor and terminally expose it in a witty way.
One part for instance shows somebody non-stop keep calling his colleagues in order to give him a kind of criticizing of buying a very expensive ,unusable phone to disturb him every now and then.
On the other hand somebody has a crush on a married secretary and how the relation ship goes with whispering and sending notes during the working hour.
On the other hand shows the manger assistance which a very isolated ,reserved person who is not able to tie his own shoes alone and without help ,but very good at sucking his boss cock.By exaggeration and nodding all the time try to be so sweet there and everybody hates him.

It has been quite long time ,over than some decades that scientists are warning ,environmentalist are unveiling disastrous, shocking news about our environment.
They try to express and tell us ,all of us what is happening before than it gets too late. But the question is who is responsible for all these?
Maybe in this century one of the hottest social news is talking about environmental issues.
A lot of people believe we are reaching to highest capicity of poppulation on the earth,a lot believe no one is responsible and nothing can do about it!
Every other day, as we glance on the news we see some specious are in danger or die out, Ice bergs and glaciers are melting incredibly fast due to over doses of carbon dioxide and other cemicals,casued by mainly factories.
As the estimation shows every year we are sending million tons of green house gases into our environment.
We buries and fuel our wastes in the soil, in the sea and anywhere out of our site, but when the results appears as sever earthquake,landslides,hurricanes,floods ,then we are wondering why do we have too many natural disasters in this century?!
What is happening to the Earth?
Producing and producing ,being too fast forward without any protection, or possibly being so ignorant to all things around and forget about nature ,follow by cause all kind of pollutions that we face today. Air,noise,water and land pollution.
It is good to see how industry develops and economy gets richer and better, but in what value?
Value of destroying our nation and next generations life? cost of putting a big question mark in front of so many questions which can’t give any reply to our children and future generation?
Who is responsible for all these?
Me ,you,govenrments,scientist ,no one .
It would happen one day as we are making a modern ,industrial life, so eco system must follow up and back up naturally with all these changes?
Well, it is too brutal and easy to handover the responsibility to others.
To sum up ,what is unveil and happen now is all of us responsibility .

The concert took about 2 and half hour and the first part was a Solo Japanese female musician and second part was another famous Chinese violinist male with accompany of piano, and that was terrific and so fascinating.
I did enjoy attending in classical concerts and stage acting theater a couple of times, while I was working in Hang Zhou city .I must say they have pretty much good quality of concert halls in China.
Well, so far China has a great reputation of Asian theater and stage acting and Chinese operas, but auditorium is pretty nice and exclusive which really impressed me here and before back in Hang Zhou and Beijing as well.
The tickets for concert are pretty expensive and just made for first class citizens .
The concert that we have been invited was almost 90 Euro which in Chinese currency is really expensive for middle class citizens so far.
To my surprise, I have noticed so many couples came along with their offspring in order to encourage them to classical music and see one of their famous musicians which was fantastic action from them ,in fact.
In mean time I was drooling in my dreams and was impressed with the music and their great performance ,remembered how much my dad was trying to encouraged me as a child to play violin and took me to concert and put classical music beside my ears on bed time. Actually it was part of bed time stories. Now I am really proud of my family of what they really did for me ,especially during the war time in Iran back to 25,6 years ago on those gloomy ,murky time of finance and corruption and ill economy system.
They have spent their own weekends ,flourishing and feeding my artistic talents through music , art , sports and languages, which were tremendously expensive and exclusive those times.

The second day of break time. I was wondering today that it has been quite long time that I haven’t done any painting.
Sometime when I check Face book I see some friends doing art and I am thinking back in time to 15 or even more than that ,20 years ago when, I was doing art so seriously ,even I chose my major in art field .
I have had so many exhibition in Iran and out and I was blossoming so fast forward for my age.
Even back to those time I remembered I was thinking about how lucrative could be my art ,in matter of selling and looking into the market.
I was just 22when I finished the study , and I was working for almost 2 years professionally as watercolorist painter organizing exhibitions in galleries and had customers who were bugging me with calls and hooking on me .I always wanted particularly special artist.
I had just had a chance to enter to fashion field starting doing programmes on T.V as independent designer cause I had had 6 months training in meanwhile studying at university and I was too young for all these.
So what happened then?
Can we call it ,all talent and desired died, suddenly?
Sounds a bit unsecured and hectic.
Well ,sometimes the ideas towards art ,comes back to me .
Back in time ,I wanted to grab and snap the chances. Traveling around Asia or east Asia ,chances to get another job as over seas teacher seeking for a better and different life, finding my soul mate, partner, somewhere else in this world.
Maybe I was so too early for everything in life, a prodigy lost in life.
It has been 2 years that I am back to music ,and from last year I just watched a movie showed a talented boy how he found his way to start his art and how he blossomed at the end, was a warning and sparkle in my life again.
As the time bring chances in life ,I have had a chance to choose in a certain time in my life ,to digest the risk ,get out of country stand on my feet and use my valor to be a teacher and now stand as a professor at university teaching English and working on my languages skills, and on my free time to draw sketches for fashion and paint, or be there, stick to art there which was great back to those period there and seeking for other chances might have happened or not totally blind and veiled situation in front.!?
Sometimes you receive a total condemnation from society which has happened to me back the time in Iran and even in China couldn’t catch chances back professionally to my art, but I do it as hobby though.
Long introduction today I am in middle of creating something new again. Painting something which brings me back memories from summer vacation in Holland.
In meanwhile I was drown in my artistic mood about clothes and new design, just a idea came in my mind which when I READ THE FOLLOWING ADRESSS

Girls just want to have fun. That was the message from the British designer Luella Bartley at London Fashion Week yesterday, where she unveiled a collection of sweet, colorful dresses and separates with a pop twist.
I was thinking to buy and even maybe design some new ,colorful clothes and now the fashion update goes girly style this year apparently. GOOD news for charming girls.!

It has been a while form the time watching “The office” the British addition one.
In fact, I like it and look at it with constructive criticism not destructive.
I have written in my last blog about this T.V series and what I do think abot British society.
No offence but, as I am going to Europe and comparing countries and I am living with a Dutch person, as my partner I am kind of wondering so much false positive illusion in Asian and Middle East minds toward the British society.
For instance, we start up with this: First, I was reading some article from the Guardian which I emphasize it is a British newspaper and I was shocked again with this astonishing news:
The UK has one of the highest prison populations in Europe. Moreover the condition of prisons is not in standard level either!
“Twenty-three hours' lock-up would not give me 7% efficiencies:” said the prisoner management. So many tragic news pops up with high rate of crimes, briberies and in Ireland is high rate of corruption as well. In many circumstance the consequence is suicides and the efficiency of these place pretty low.
Second, we compare the rate of jobless, homeless communities which is rising up, especially after financial crises and even worse, so there is no other way to keep it stagnant.
It was another report talking about pay rise taxes 50% by 2012 in Uk, one of the reporter from the Guardian made an interview with an artist and she claimed, planning to leave the country and move to France as social welfare better quality, taking care of artist society in height bad better level and salaries and wage in compare more reasonable.
It is totally a volatile scenario for The Great Britain, besides rebuking I should confess if I would have lived there the first decision I would have made, was leaving.
On the other hand, rising up the retirement age. It is expected that senior citizens must work at least up to age 66 and even more by 2016,which is coming up from the conservative party ,in order to increase the deficit and beneficial cases for government and people.
The health care system, which was for so many years on a good reputation compare to USA ,is not in high rank anymore either, compare to other European countries.
And finally education system is blurring worse than before. I read news which was comparing British undergraduate and over seas students in national examination and the result was kind of embarrassing for UK as the rate of mistakes in grammar, spieling, punctuation among British was so much higher than non-native over seas students which are a shame for British education system.
No wonder it is in this way, as we read and heard about sever, long teachers protest against low salaries, high illogical demand and expectation from parents and further than that over load with work time.
Among EU countries as it is the only native speaking country with highest problem in education and poor quality of service.
As a matter of the fact, the govemrent try to use the constructive way to halt this tremble, but seems to be really harsh for Britain this time to get out of ghastly situation. Moreover, they need a very pragmatic way to resolve these numerous problems.
